Beach Bitch Time

I wrote a worthy and rather indulgent post early this morning which I pulled
It was important to write but not to post if you get my meaning
Those that have already read it, will understand I am sure.
Now I post a photo of myself and the girls
Indulgent me!?
Naw!
Anyhow it's Tuesday, I think
Yes it's Tuesday .....Choir night !

I took the younger girls on an 8 mile beach walk and timed it well enough to meet an old friend for proper coffee overlooking Liverpool Bay

Yesterday, I found a heart shaped pebble tucked away on a book shelf
It was no larger than a postage stamp and it had been there perhaps 16 years
I painted it a cheerful yellow and wrote on it stay safe
And left it on the head of the ever growing covid snake which stretches from the lytch gate towards the church

Bryn Euryn

Mary decided she was friends with Ben
Lovely afternoon
My work colleague besties and I met up with our gaggle of dogs and had a walk up the ancient hill fort Bryn Euryn which is tucked behind the town of Colwyn Bay

Ruth and her dog Max

Big Skies over Conwy

Ruth made me somesocks which I'm wearing right now. My right knee is aching badly with all the climbing but it was worth it.
Friends lighten the heart

Trelawnyd Pride

I organised the photo but the velvet voiced Linda ( front far left) organised this set of Trelawnyd villagers as a total force for good during the covid crisis
Here are the Trelawnyd Street Volunteers , well most of them to be sure, and. amid the ranks are well known characters such as Hattie, Bunty, The Affable despot Jason, Tim bright and not dim and yours truly with Mary right at the back !
This is only a work in progress as Boffin Cameron needs to spin more magic on the images
But it's a start
I'm so very proud of us all

Gay Pride Weekend

Trolls

Trolls, commentators with little emotional intelligence and spineless anonymous commentators have been trying to shake us bloggers recently.
Some bloggers of old have resorted to a blog holiday just to escape them
All three types just get on my tits
Arseholes all!!

I've spent the afternoon in a park with a friend
We dodged the showers , ate sushi and fruit
And talked until it was time to go home
I had a date!

Therapy

The girls have spent most of the day watching various items of clothes, old duvet sets, bald towels, a plethora of holed underpants , three bin bags of crap, one small side table and wooden duck fly past the living room window onto the lawn.
By hour number three, they didn't bother raising a head, even when I got overly excited and bunged  out an old standard lamp which crashed onto the concrete path by mistake.
It's been a totally therapeutic day
It really has!
I really feel that I have turned an important corner in my life today
I shall discuss this more in detail at some stage
But that's not for today
Hey ho!!

Knickers in the air

Hey Siri what day is it today?
Bloody Friday already!
So what does today hold for me
Shall I go down to the beach with all of the mindless stupid people who are following that Oaf Boris' instructions to "Get on out there!!" ?
Or should I get pissed and drugged up and hold a rave party down Cwm Road in the hope of injuring a couple of policemen?
Hummm?

Well I'm actually clearing out my wardrobe
It's entertaining the neighbours!!!

Hot

The pace of the holiday has matched the pace of the mini heatwave and slowly I have cleared out my new bike shed and re organised the garden shed which now has neat lines of gleaming garden tools in it as well as a newly buffed up mower.
Not content with the outside sheds, I made a start on some unsorted bedroom cupboards and cleared out a load of shite as well as carrier bags of old books and photographs all of which I have therapeutically thrown into the bin.
I bumped into Mrs Trellis when I was returning Jason's power cleaner and both agreed to attend the photo session of the Street Wardens which looks as though it's happening on Sunday evening
Mrs Trellis is buying a computer soon , so impressed she is with on line shopping.

Trendy Carol ( in a baseball hat inspired ensemble today!!) stopped to chat as the lone cockerel stopped by for his tea as he made his way back to the Churchyard.
I feel for the bird who looks and acts incredibly lonely
I caught him yesterday standing on the Church wall listening to the crowing of a cockerel at the livery stables only 1000 yards away.
So near but so far away.

The bulldogs have spent their day with nipples against cold shady concrete

Thunderstorms are on the way
