ReplyDeleteBloody cold today ,......
DeleteThis picture is awesome! It's nice to document things like this in a village plus it gives well earned praise to the ones that volunteer their time. Well Done!

ReplyDeletelol you are right x
DeleteGood looking people in Trelawnyd. You should be proud.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful.
I am so very much x
Delete"A Manifesto for village life" would make a good title for your book? You'd have plenty of chapters to fill it with, lincluding this one.
ReplyDeleteI think people think I exaggerate the village Blog feeling but look at the photo!
DeleteIt's a motley crew but thy have big hearts and know the meaning of "community". Soon to be a piece of history. Love the fashionable knitted poncho in the middle!
ReplyDeleteLook at you, back there with Mary! You all are wonderful, and so kind.
ReplyDeleteIt all seems very British! And I'm glad to see everyone is socially distanced.
ReplyDeleteI saw you and Mary in the back right corner, too! Glad to see smiling faces and proper distances between. Great picture of you fine people!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Ah yes......I see you now. Much clearer than the twitter pic!
ReplyDeleteAll part of the history of the village and definitely should be in the archive. A good idea and a well composed photograph.
ReplyDeleteThank u x
DeletePrint it, frame it, explain it, so 100 years from now, people will know what was done, how it was done, and how you all made a difference. History in village life.
ReplyDeleteGreat photograph for the archives ..... and John typically at the back holding a dog ...... perfect. XXXX
ReplyDeleteYes n the background x
DeleteAbsolutely brilliant. Well done to everyone involved.
ReplyDeleteWhat an exceptional community.
ReplyDeleteWhen I hear the line, "it takes a village"...I think of Trelawnyd and folks like those in the photo. Salt of the earth. Well done.

ReplyDeleteWell done to all of you. What a great photo for the village archive's in years to come. And you with Mary Wish I lived in a village like yours.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Rachel, and am so glad you have this photo. I also live in a small community and there's been a lot of helping hands.
ReplyDeleteYes our village is nby no means unique
DeleteIs chic Eleanor on the photo and tendy Carol?
ReplyDeleteI mean trendy Carol lol
DeleteNo neither were Street Wardens though carol works as a carer
DeleteIts lovely to see everyone coming together isnt it, the virus really has brought out the best in some people.
DeleteWhat a wonderful community!
ReplyDeleteI agree about the lovely people in the photo. I am surprised at how many of you there are. Do you really have 24 streets in your village? If so, it is larger than I imagined, but just as community minded.
ReplyDeleteTwo wardens per street , the vicar was also there for letting us ring the bell
DeleteIs the Boffin Cameron going to get a logo of the rainbow or similar for you perhaps x
ReplyDeleteYou get a real sense of the community from that one photo...truly lovely x
ReplyDeleteWhat a heartwarming photo of these lovely people in your village they deserve to be celebrated and a photo kept in the village archives, kudos to you all.
