The Child Inside

 I’m such a child sometimes
I don’t apologise for it
Yesterday I bought a £3.00 plastic light up ghost from Sainsbury’s
Useless
But cute

Snap! I have one as well. I also have a ghost mug. If you go into Poundland they have some great Hallowe'en stuff, including the sweetest dinky little ghost tea lights for £1.
It is precious little things like this that bring sweet little joyous moments to a mundane day, things that both make life worth living and prove you are still alive to the child inside. All good.

  2. Sometimes it is only a light up ghost which can fill that spot in your house or mind.

  3. I bought a large Peter Rabbit soft toy from a charity shop a few weeks ago. Well, he was calling out to me!
We can't be grown up all the time! xx

  4. I have almost the exact same ghost on my kitchen windowsill. It's October 1: time to get out all the Halloween decorations.

  14. It's lovely, and yes you have to feed and treat your inner child. My Dad kept his going until the week he died in his eighties. Loving little jokes, cartoons, buying singing Christmas novelties and always, always pressing the buttons on the musical things in shops. Now I do the same, it feeds my inner child and remembers his.

Too cute and it makes you smile. Win win!
About two years ago I bought two different sized fabric gnomes. They are too cute and make me smile, too. We've had 3 fabric Doozers (Fraggle Rock) and a fabric Kermit for several decades. My child within is happy.

    Hugs!

    2. Being a child lets us feel joy, to laugh at the silly things in life, and to happy dance from time to time.

  19. The ghosty is adorable, you deserved a three dollar smile. Your poor eye! A bit of childlike shimsy is so charming in an adult man.

  21. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Sometimes it’s the little, silly things that bring the most joy. That ghost sounds perfectly charming.
