Snap! I have one as well. I also have a ghost mug. If you go into Poundland they have some great Hallowe'en stuff, including the sweetest dinky little ghost tea lights for £1. It is precious little things like this that bring sweet little joyous moments to a mundane day, things that both make life worth living and prove you are still alive to the child inside. All good.
"sweet little joyous moments to a mundane day" - perfect ☺️ sometimes they're just the thing to lift the spirits ( oops just realised what I did there 😅)
It's lovely, and yes you have to feed and treat your inner child. My Dad kept his going until the week he died in his eighties. Loving little jokes, cartoons, buying singing Christmas novelties and always, always pressing the buttons on the musical things in shops. Now I do the same, it feeds my inner child and remembers his.
Too cute and it makes you smile. Win win! About two years ago I bought two different sized fabric gnomes. They are too cute and make me smile, too. We've had 3 fabric Doozers (Fraggle Rock) and a fabric Kermit for several decades. My child within is happy.

Hugs!
It lifted your spirits, so that makes it useful. Necessary, even.
ReplyDeleteThe ghosty is adorable, you deserved a three dollar smile. Your poor eye! A bit of childlike shimsy is so charming in an adult man.
