What a wonderful show, amazing exhibits, and excellent attendance!!!!! The food, real vegetables, and flowers look glorious and those cakes and pies - yum! I'd have liked to talk with Ma Manley and to listen as she talked with others about her lovely book. Love seeing your sweet cottage again. I'm surprised your perfect yellow tulips didn't win anything (wink). Ta for taking us along.
ReplyDeleteNow you and the others who works so hard can relax and let your souls catch up with your bodies (as Grandma Hall used to say).
Big hugs!
... and a good time was had by all...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely displays! You and your committee put on a wonderful event. Thanks for sharing the bounty from your town’s gardens!
ReplyDeleteThe villagers came through once again, as did the organizers - what impressive entries! The plastic tulips cracked me up :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful. Great to see so much participation and lots of attendees.
ReplyDeleteWow! Such a great effort by entrants and organisers alike. I'm sure everyone had a really enjoyable time. Shame your plastic tulips didn't win anything but laughs! Time to pour yourself a large G&T and put your feet up. xx
ReplyDeleteSo many wonderful exhibits! Everything looks marvelous. But my gawd, that's a monster zucchini on the produce table! (or courgette, as I believe you call them). Good luck to Kelda in the cupcake (and other) categories!
ReplyDeleteMarvelous, wish we were there.
ReplyDeleteWell done everyone. That looks amazing. I take it your tulips didn't win?
ReplyDeleteWhat a marvelous display of food and produce, and happy people. This was a really big deal. Well done, everyone. Was there a Best Gag Flower entry prize?
ReplyDeleteWhat an accomplishment for the village. All of your hard work paid off.
ReplyDeleteBun
A veritable cornucopia of delights!!!
ReplyDeleteA splendid event, well attended and enjoyed. Is Ma Manley publishing her book?
ReplyDeleteLovely to see Ma Manley, and the others you have mentioned over the years - especially Hattie and her family!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on such a successful and wonderful flower & produce show!!! Brilliant way to celebrate the 50th annual show, and your photos are absolutely a joy.
ReplyDeleteA well-deserved G&T should be on hand this evening.
Well done to all who participated and attended. You have such a wonderful community!
How on earth do the judges choose? Everything looks so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks absolutely wonderful. Thank you for taking us along. So many wonderful entrants and well attended and everyone looks so happy. Joyful.
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely. All of it.
ReplyDeleteThat was an outstanding show! So much participation from all the village people amazes me. I really wish I could have been there. If I ever make it to Wales, I would love to see you and meet some of the lovely people there. Never say never. I might have one more great trip in me.
ReplyDeleteWonderful.
ReplyDeleteNext year sneak in a category for "out of season plastic flowers" so you can get a big ribbon. Also does some luck person (who isn't on a low carb/sugar diet) get to taste all the cakes? And is that Lemon Curd? Wow.

There’s a lot of wonderful talent in that room — and community. Ma Manley’s book is an absolute treasure. And the dog deserves the blue ribbon. Wonderful!
ReplyDeletePardon me... Best in Show!
DeleteIt all looks fabulous, well done and congratulations to all involved in this amazing show. I'm craving home made cake!!
