Have to say your exuberance is underwhelming. When I was a kid old people complained about feeling discomfort with the time change and it seemed so weird. Now I spend a couple days after each one a bit out of joint.
Yep, the shorten work that affects night shift is in springtime (Spring Forward) and the extra hour of work is in autumn (Fall Back). Been there, worked both. You look somewhat knackered, John. Sleep well.
It's something - but a hard night still remains exactly that. Hope your rest today is a good one.
ReplyDeleteDo you pay a penalty in the autumn and have to work an extra hour?
ReplyDeleteThe idea is that you work both
DeleteSmall comforts! Sweet dreams today. xx
ReplyDeleteI hope you slept well.
ReplyDeleteNo! I do not like BST and wish they would stop changing the clocks twice a year. It is stupid and quite disruptive. I see no benefits whatsoever.
ReplyDelete10 hour shift? wow
ReplyDeleteyeh i agree
ReplyDeleteOh, I hadn’t thought about a shortened night shift thanks to the clock change. ONE benefit!
ReplyDeleteIn Canada we sprang forward at the beginning of March, in sync with the Americans.

ReplyDeleteI was just wondering this morning if there's any possibility you can retire soon from nursing. It is a HARD job, physically and emotionally.
ReplyDeleteHave a good nap today!

Hugs!
You look crisp, kind and professional!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought about how BST would affect workers overnight. That's a bonus! (But one that gets yanked back in the autumn, I guess...)
ReplyDeleteWet and cold here again today , feels more like the start of British winter time!
