Grace fell through. Her owner started to be somewhat economical with health news and updates, and I won’t be messed around when it comes to bulldogs. Their health can be too precarious to be fucked around. This was back in December
Now Olive has been put forward,
A healthy and robust four year old .
She has a gentle nature , loves everyone and has only one eye
She looks and indeed acts like Dorothy.
Even the tongue thing is the same.
Oh Lord……

Sounds like you're already hooked. Go for it John, we need all the love we can get.

No the stars all need to align
DeleteShe looks like she's winking at you. I guess she already knows you're in love! xx
ReplyDeleteShe’s an underdog, for those
DeleteOlive looks like a sweetie and, if the stars align, hope she can come to live with you, Mary, Roger, Weaver, and Bun.
ReplyDeleteHopeful hugs!
Watch this space babs
DeleteOooooo, will she be THE ONE?
ReplyDeleteI’ve had four bulldogs so far
DeleteShe does look quite lovely.
ReplyDeleteShe looks like dorothy
DeleteShe looks adorable. Last year I was looking for a pup after my 13 year old dog passed. So many times I saw a potential pup but my sense told me no. Thankfully the perfect puppy was found (thanks to a knowledgeable friend)and is now at my feet, watching a French mystery, after having the zoomies.
ReplyDeleteThe Welsh are used to new characters and Mary can distance herself from any new bitch, a bitch that may befriend Roger
DeleteOMG! She is adorbs! I do hope the planets and stars align and she will be yours. I look forward to the bulldog stories! Just met a long-haired Frenchie, who was a most beautiful gray color. He looks like a real-life stuffed animal, and has a large personality for such a little dog. He is the clinic dog at my chiropractor's office. His always perky ears and little snorts of happiness make everyone oooh and ahhh. Oh, dogs.
ReplyDeleteI think it’s time for a new bulldog
DeleteYour pack doesn't feel complete without a bulldog! And, who knows, maybe this one will become friends with the stroppy cat. Stranger things have happened
ReplyDeleteI have missed Dorothy s neediness
DeleteShe would look good with a pirate's eye patch
ReplyDeleteGabrielle
DeleteShe needs your love 💘
ReplyDeleteDon’t we you all lol
DeleteThinking of you and hoping the stars will align. But it's about you, not us. All the very best, John. Jxx
ReplyDeleteLet us see
DeleteOh Lord indeed John, fingers crossed for you and Olive, keep us in the loop please. Jan in Castle Gresley
ReplyDeleteWill do
DeleteMy 83 year old sister adopted a senior dog named Precious. Not long after the sweet dog required surgery which resulted in the loss of one eye. I will email a photo. She is such a good girl and they are so good for one another! As for this post - you will know what is right for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a work in progress, I was captivated by the name
DeleteI hope Olive becomes the one. There is something about her. Josie ( )
ReplyDeleteI felt that too, I suspect it’s the fact she’s an underdog like each one of my bulldogs . Constance was poorly ( never again) , Mabel was shy , Winifred was just a blank canvas that blossomed , and Dorothy was oh so needy
DeleteI haven’t chosen all of mine, many chose me. You’ll know what’s right for you and Olive. Hugs to you both. WI Dee
ReplyDeleteShe needs a cat check
DeleteLove the name and frankly, she's a beautiful girl. Good luck and best wishes for your potential new addition John. X
ReplyDelete🤞🏻
DeleteJesus John , she’s a keeper
ReplyDeleteRooster Cogburn !
FILL-YOUR HANDS YOU SON of A BITCH
Lee
Pity she’s not a MALE x
DeleteOnly someone who is special who knows bulldogs can care for and love Olive whose name in itself is divine They are special dogs , their temperament and attitude makes them who they are . Their movement is something else!
ReplyDeleteI feel I’m an expert
DeleteI'm sure Weaver is greatly looking forward to meeting Olive.
ReplyDeleteHummmm
