One Eyed Olive

Grace fell through. Her owner started to be somewhat economical with health news and updates, and I won’t be messed around when it comes to bulldogs. Their health can be too precarious to be fucked around. This was back in December

Now Olive has been put forward,
A healthy and robust four year old .
She has a gentle nature , loves everyone and has only one eye
She looks and indeed acts like Dorothy.
Even the tongue thing is the same.

Oh Lord……

Olive looks like a sweetie and, if the stars align, hope she can come to live with you, Mary, Roger, Weaver, and Bun.

    Hopeful hugs!

She looks adorable. Last year I was looking for a pup after my 13 year old dog passed. So many times I saw a potential pup but my sense told me no. Thankfully the perfect puppy was found (thanks to a knowledgeable friend)and is now at my feet, watching a French mystery, after having the zoomies.

  7. OMG! She is adorbs! I do hope the planets and stars align and she will be yours. I look forward to the bulldog stories! Just met a long-haired Frenchie, who was a most beautiful gray color. He looks like a real-life stuffed animal, and has a large personality for such a little dog. He is the clinic dog at my chiropractor's office. His always perky ears and little snorts of happiness make everyone oooh and ahhh. Oh, dogs.

  13. My 83 year old sister adopted a senior dog named Precious. Not long after the sweet dog required surgery which resulted in the loss of one eye. I will email a photo. She is such a good girl and they are so good for one another! As for this post - you will know what is right for you and your family.

    1. I felt that too, I suspect it’s the fact she’s an underdog like each one of my bulldogs . Constance was poorly ( never again) , Mabel was shy , Winifred was just a blank canvas that blossomed , and Dorothy was oh so needy

Only someone who is special who knows bulldogs can care for and love Olive whose name in itself is divine They are special dogs , their temperament and attitude makes them who they are . Their movement is something else!

You said that Weaver was warming to you when the dogs were out of the house. I imagine Weaver will be very disturbed and afraid of a new large housemate. Such a shame if she's starting to
feel closer to you and more relaxed. Let's hope the new dog is very cat friendly.

Looks like it must be a multi dog household she's in now, given the picture? So that would be good for fitting in with Roger and Mary. You are brave!

Looks like you might well have been chosen. Soul dogs do have a tendency to return as someone different but similar enough. Enough said.

    Olive looks a sweetie.
Our dear old Daisy had a stroke on Wednesday, and a short trip to the vet. It was all very sudden from being her usual bossy self, so we are a bit stunned and grieving.
