Grace fell through. Her owner started to be somewhat economical with health news and updates, and I won’t be messed around when it comes to bulldogs. Their health can be too precarious to be fucked around. This was back in December
Now Olive has been put forward,
A healthy and robust four year old .
She has a gentle nature , loves everyone and has only one eye
She looks and indeed acts like Dorothy.
Even the tongue thing is the same.
Oh Lord……

Sounds like you're already hooked. Go for it John, we need all the love we can get.

No the stars all need to align
DeleteShe looks like she's winking at you. I guess she already knows you're in love! xx
ReplyDeleteOlive looks like a sweetie and, if the stars align, hope she can come to live with you, Mary, Roger, Weaver, and Bun.
ReplyDeleteHopeful hugs!
Oooooo, will she be THE ONE?
ReplyDeleteShe does look quite lovely.
ReplyDeleteShe looks adorable. Last year I was looking for a pup after my 13 year old dog passed. So many times I saw a potential pup but my sense told me no. Thankfully the perfect puppy was found (thanks to a knowledgeable friend)and is now at my feet, watching a French mystery, after having the zoomies.
ReplyDeleteOMG! She is adorbs! I do hope the planets and stars align and she will be yours. I look forward to the bulldog stories! Just met a long-haired Frenchie, who was a most beautiful gray color. He looks like a real-life stuffed animal, and has a large personality for such a little dog. He is the clinic dog at my chiropractor's office. His always perky ears and little snorts of happiness make everyone oooh and ahhh. Oh, dogs.
ReplyDeleteYour pack doesn't feel complete without a bulldog! And, who knows, maybe this one will become friends with the stroppy cat. Stranger things have happened
ReplyDeleteShe would look good with a pirate's eye patch
ReplyDeleteShe needs your love 💘
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and hoping the stars will align. But it's about you, not us. All the very best, John. Jxx
ReplyDeleteOh Lord indeed John, fingers crossed for you and Olive, keep us in the loop please. Jan in Castle Gresley
ReplyDeleteMy 83 year old sister adopted a senior dog named Precious. Not long after the sweet dog required surgery which resulted in the loss of one eye. I will email a photo. She is such a good girl and they are so good for one another! As for this post - you will know what is right for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI hope Olive becomes the one. There is something about her. Josie ( )
ReplyDeleteI haven’t chosen all of mine, many chose me. You’ll know what’s right for you and Olive. Hugs to you both. WI Dee
