Thank You

No real blog today, just a thank you to animal helper Pat , ( for the beans) , The Manley’s ( for muffins with homegrown blueberries and handmade card) and to I’m presuming Eirlys ( for the eggs left on the kitchen wall)…I’m meeting Andrew from well street for a drink in the Crown ( under new management )

  5. Such lovely people. This is the time to reach out to friends although to be honest in similar circumstances I've been reluctant to do so. I don't know what held me back. Pride? Anyway, I should have done it sooner. In the article in a comment on your previous post it said staff were being supported. Is this true?

That is the sort of jumble of good things that arrive to wish good things for a good man. And it helps.
If you want my great grandmother's recipe for runner bean chutney just say. It is a Victorian delight I try to make every year. Lovely with cheese or a curry!

I find great delight in your village family loving you up with homegrown and handmade when you are in need of TLC. Wish my little town here in Northern Michigan was this caring! Kathleen

  22. I haven't eaten a 'Runner' bean for decades, we only ever have French beans these days. However, I live in hope and still have my funny little bean slicer just in case.
