Kissing

Eye Hospital appointment today made bearable by professional care, a great consultant and a meeting with fellow patient Mo who is the leader of the village Friendship Group.

I had several scans which shows the bleed in my eye improving

But does anyone else feel like this ? When the doctor , or nurse or technician is scanning my eyes so close up and intimate like , I suddenly have the real urge to kiss them.

Am I unique in feeling this way?

Oh no, I would never felt the urge to kiss someone going near my eyes!!!! My urge would be something between need to run away to scream my lungs out to try to hit that someone with anything heavy enough. I hate and fear someone touching my eye... (and to be honest, I don't want to be near or to be touched by anyone if not a child or an animal. Yes, I'm in the spectrum.
But I sense a relief in your writings, such a heavy load has been lift off your shoulders. Can't wait to meet your next resque, when it is time.

  4. Sometimes, yes, but I have had occasions when their halitosis has put me off the idea. Garlic breath isn't a good fit when you have to get up close and personal!
Glad the eye is improving. xx

Only once, when I was in my 20s and I quickly squelched the thought.
After I was married, I was kissed at work by 3 different doctors on 3 occasions when I was not a willing participant. Inappropriate, but in those long ago days it wasn't reported.

    Hugs!

You are only unique in admitting to it!
Or...perhaps you would like to come with me to an appointment with my very dishy young Asian Specsavers person and we'll see what you feel then?
On the other hand, having a much better experience this time, with a positive diagnosis does send a rush of - adrenalin, oxytocin, testerone or something - to the brain and elsewhere.
Welcome it. Means you are not only still alive, but punching your weight. Yay!

  12. Never that I can recall. having had several eye operations in latter years as well as regular opticians appointments. I think I just might get that temptation if it was someone I fancied but so far no.
