Job

The email came through this afternoon. The hospice had received enough voluntary redundancy applications amongst the nursing staff for the cost cutting to be completed

There will be no compulsory redundancies.

I rang Nu first who suggested gin and lots of it
And I’ve been messaging people for the past hour, thanking them for their support
Finally I took Roger up the lane to Mr Poźnan’s neat bungalow and told him personally

And I hugged him with the longest of Disney hugs

Welsh hugs from France. Too hot here but it’s a good excuse to read books and the I-pad.
I knew all would work out. More Welsh hugs and why not reward yourself with a gin and tonic. I am. Susan

  25. Oh, that is such great news. I've been hoping that would be the outcome (that happened at the school where I worked) but didn't dare voice it in case I jinxed things! I'm breathing a huge sigh of relief for you and your colleagues. Yes, a very large G&T and a happy dance is called for. xx🍸🕺
