Mrs Trellis wins the day

I’ve seen clients today ( don’t worry I’ve rested my arm) and got home to an Easter Egg wrapped carefully in tissue paper.

The accompanying card and letter was from Mrs Trellis who thanked me for the amaryllis plant I had given her last Christmas.

( I actually gave her the plant at Christmas 2023 but whose counting)

What a kind and yummy way for the delightful Mrs. Trellis to thank you for your gift to her.
Does seeing clients mean you're not taking time off from that in addition to not working at hospice for two weeks? I realize that talking to folks is not anywhere near as demanding physically as nursing, especially in the hospice setting, but still .... mind what you do, okay?

    Hugs!

    1. I hear you, but it would be unfair not to carry on with my 5 clients , especially as some were at critical and pivotal positions in therapy.
Physically my arm and shoulder was rested

Another example of your charming village. Glad you have taken some time off and also resting your arm while still counseling.

  5. You are truly loved by many, John. Kindness begets kindness. Just don't let that chocolate scupper your diet and send your blood glucose haywire. A small piece with your coffee should be OK. 🥚😋 xx

Smart to enjoy the egg in its picture and pass it on quick before you are tempted!

      Have a good holiday weekend!

  10. Mrs Trellis has shown all of us that it is always appropriate and never too late to say thank you for a kindness, especially a kindness that has lodged in our memory. We should all learn from her example.

“What a kind man you are” That card will undoubtedly go into your collection of cards and notes from others that express how much you are respected and loved.

Dialing back on the workload for 2 weeks is a good idea. I guess talking with clients is okay. Take care John.
