Snow here, too. It's slowly thawing, but tomorrow, if it freezes over, it will be treacherous. Safe driving. Shame you can't stay snuggled up, but bills must be paid! xx
When it is so very hot here in Georgia we start to talk about moving "back home" (Indiana) but then it gets cooler in the fall and by winter we are saying "no way!"
Beautiful. We had snow here in South Derbyshire, started about 9.30pm last night and stopped around 5.30am this morning. Really constant and with big flakes. It covered everything thickly and looked beautiful. There is still some around but sadly it has thawed a lot. Luckily I don't need to drive anywhere just yet.
Going back to bed is an excellent plan considering all that lovely snow. Hope the roads are clear and dry by the time you're heading to work. Our forecast for tonight and tomorrow is 'wintery mix' and snow. Tis the season!
I forget how pretty snow can look, but also how ugly when it turns to sludge and then ices over and becomes treacherous to walk on or drive on. Glad you got to go back to bed, hope it's gone by time you have to leave for work.
The cottage looks like a Christmas card. Up here in Yorkshire we have had too much snow, with both the M1 and M62 behind and above me blocked intermittently. The snow was deeper than my dog is tall, so he refused to go out in it....consequently I have done a LOT of snow shovelling today! Stay warm, stay safe.
It's lovely, next year's holiday ecard. Did you have t go out or someone covered you for your shift? Do you lose pay if you cannot get in? If you did dive, hope you and Bluebell are safe and the roads are dry now. love lizzy
That is so pretty, treacherous but pretty. Take care, when you next head out. xx

ReplyDeleteVery pretty, we don’t have any, it all blew away. Sleep well with the tribe. Gigi
ReplyDeleteUnsurprisingly, it looks like you got more than we did -- but we also had some on the ground when I woke this morning.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful, but it's not a lot of fun to drive in. Go carefully, John. Xx

Your home is beautifully framed. I love the way snow looks. Not such a fan of actually romping around in it.
ReplyDeleteAlways lovely at this stage, and then it melts.......

So beautiful, if you don’t have to go anywhere or do anything!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of snow.
ReplyDeleteI hope the roads are clear before you have to go out.
By now, Massachusetts should have snow like you have. Sadly, nothing
Can't deny, that picture is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWowee, that's a lot of snow. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteI hate snow. Luckily we just had a bit of drizzle.
