Sent on to my two daughters. Hope you're doing well. I'm ok, spent the day baking bread with youngest granddaughter Nell.

Wonderful. Wish my sweet mom and beloved AMIL (angel MIL) were here to hear it, but perhaps they're not so very far away?
    Ta, John!

    Hugs!

Just lovely, and a very heartfelt and moving tribute. Thank you for passing that on (however did you find it?) I will be passing it on too; I have never heard of Jessia before. There are some wonderful female singer songwriters out there at the moment. I'll recommend Maggie Rogers (Light On) folk/jazz musician Rhiannon Giddens, Lexie Jayde for a modern classic Drunk Text Me - just for a start.

Just wanted to add: looked this up on You Tube, so if you have enjoyed it, then please do the same. The lyrics are there to be read, and the comments below are as moving as the song itself. Real musical treasure.

Hi John, Just a quick hello from here as we are still without electricity from Storm Helene. Reception is spotty at best but we are safe. Jackie

  10. Thanks John. I just sent this to my sister. The two of them sometimes butt heads and the video is a good reminder how lucky we are to still have our mom around at age 90.
