Weaver is more robust and confident , Beans is diffident and smaller
The spare bedroom looks like a lunatic has been let lose in it.
Both understand that I am food giver and head scratcher
But both have that Albert “ look” about them
They are going to stand no messing
Weather’s lovely , just right for a family barbecue
Weaver on the right?, already looks ready to take on the Welsh! 🤣 definite plotting going on. L
ReplyDeleteThe lunatic was let loose in the other bedroom!...Only kidding!
ReplyDeleteThey are so adorable, but yes, "The Look" is there.
ReplyDeleteThat look says, "Don't mess with me, I have claws and I'm not afraid to use them!" Mind you, once the boundaries have been set (i.e. the twins show who are the bosses) I've no doubt all will be well and all the furries will be snuggled up together. Here's hoping there's not too much bloodshed to get to that point! (They are cute, though.) xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful kittens. Why does the music from Jaws come to mind?
ReplyDeleteDouble trouble for sure 😍😉😂
ReplyDeleteAlison in Wales x
Oh they look like adorable trouble!
ReplyDeleteThey are both so sweet, but I just have a natural affinity for a black kitten. My black cat, that looked so much like Albert, is nearly 15 years old and she is as energetic as she was as a 1 year old. No one can believe she is older because she tears around and plays like a much younger cat. A friend once said that there is nothing in comparison to a black cat. He believed they had to try harder because people have a tendency to overlook them. He also believed they had no idea of how much joy they were missing out, by doing so. I look forward to Weaver and Beans antics. I'm sure they are already plotting. Ranee (MN) USA
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo
ReplyDeleteThanks,-Mary
Beautiful family both photos.
ReplyDeleteSuch lucky kittens to be a part of your family.
ReplyDeleteKittens are always so sweet looking, even as they dangle from your curtains:) They are cute. Glad you had a chance to connect with family.
ReplyDeleteA long time ago a roommate of mine and I got two black kittens. We named them Simone and Isadore. They were darling little beings. I believe that Weaver and Beans will be the same for you.
ReplyDeleteTwo sweeties for sure, though I suspect it might be a challenge for you to 'earn' their trust. But you'll do it.
ReplyDeleteI don't think she's meaty enough to feed a family
ReplyDeleteWeaver and Beans are ADORABLE! I'm glad they're settling in and accepting you as their human.
ReplyDeleteJohn. Who is everyone ???
ReplyDeleteMay I ask?

DeleteWhat a beautiful garden that looks. I'd love to see more. Kath x
ReplyDeleteBoth my sisters have phenomenal gardens
DeleteWeaver and Beans are just the perfect addition to the tribe and hope there is less mayhem to come. Weaver's expression is not to be ignored though.
ReplyDeleteNice family photo, yummy food on the table, and a lovey garden setting. Is that Janet's garden?
Hugs!
Hugs!
🐈⬛🐈⬛oh no, two Alberts! Gigi
ReplyDeleteTwo perfect additions to your family. I don't doubt they are going to rule the roost and that Albert clearly left instructions for them to do so!
ReplyDeleteMy Pippi and Lulu have been such fun from the moment they arrived and have such differing characters. I wouldn't be without them.
Well, they do have that "Albert" look, don't they?
ReplyDeleteWeaver and Beans are beautiful! These little ladies will definitely rule the Gray household. 🐈⬛🐈⬛😊
ReplyDeleteSo glad the weather is nice and you & your family had a lovely barbeque. Garden looks wonderful!
The kittens look adorable and also very Albert like. The family photo is lovely. The people, the food and the garden, it all looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThey will be a handful!..
ReplyDeleteGood to see a family gathering
I love the expressions - pure sass! Clearly these were the two kittens you were sent along to adopt with the wisdom of Albert directing operations. The three of you are going to make a great team, with the Welsh riding shotgun. A deep breath and off you all go. Watch out, world, the Grays are coming!
ReplyDeleteThe kittens are cute. What are you feeding them? Looks like chicken and eggs?
ReplyDeleteYou are fortunate to have such a large close family who love you. Looks like a fun evening.
They are gorgeous. As we prepare to lose our black baby they simultaneously tug at my heart strings and make me smile.
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS ! You will have your hands full. I see "the look" !
ReplyDeleteSon's two black cats, brother and sister were naughtily wonderful. One had a small hole in his ear helped me get to know him. I miss them very much.
woof !
A happy family barbecue. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteDo you mean the bedroom looks like YOU were let loose in it?
Oh! BBQ in Wales, who'da thunk it? But did you not make it into the picture or is that your bearded chin in the lower right?
ReplyDeleteThat’s me
DeleteLovely family!
ReplyDeleteI have written a long comment 5 times now The first four around teatime which I lost before finishing so I gave up. It took me hours.
ReplyDeleteI've just written it all again, finished it and pressed publish. It said publishing, but it's not appeared.
What's happening John?
Will you even get this one?
Jean.
Some messages go to spam I will check
DeleteNope it in spam
DeleteWeaver and Beans are adorable. The family BBQ looks great and the garden setting is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the kittens will be very friendly, the look is possibly because they are eating and still not sure if they can fully trust you.
ReplyDeleteYou probably know that stroking them reminds them of when their mother used to lick and wash them. My cats have always enjoyed being stroked from head to the tip of their tail in one long stroke, and will raise their back in response to the pleasure.
My kittens are now 9 months old and have been going outside in the day and evening, but only when I'm at home.
They still race around, chase each other and play fight, and look even more adorable when they wash each other's face, neck and ears.
When they were younger I would come down each morning to find kitchen chaos. The floor would be strewn with toys, and their basket cushions and blankets all over the place. As soon as I popped the toys back into the little box so I didn't tread on them, my little girl would flick them out again with a quizzical look on her face.
After a while I noticed a few things had gone missing, I couldn't find the pen I'd left there for one thing. My little girl was ace at football and could frequently be found with her paw up to her shoulder fishing around under the fridge and needing me to retrieve her ball for her. I decided that next day I would pull out the fridge and investigate. Of course I had an audience. I found a whole stash of things, my pen, a packet and half a packet of Polo mints, bottle tops, a straw, a spoon, and about seven other small items. I was so surprised at the size of the stash and couldn't help but laugh. Even she looked amazed when she saw them.
Jean.
Roger collects treasures too, a pen , a flower, a book
DeleteYay! It got to you. 6th attempt!.
ReplyDeleteJean.
Your family barbecue photo is so summery! A gorgeous garden and great weather for a get together.
ReplyDeleteThe kittens look so sweet.
