She's so enthusiastic, it's no wonder she gets so much from the choir and orchestra. What a shame the blackbird has moved on. As I understand it, they can build several nests before they settle on one. It would have been so wonderful to watch the eggs hatch and the fledglings take flight. Roger would have been entranced! xx
I’m slowly finding my self obsessed with a far distant Spanish choir , a far distant Welsh village and a heart on his sleeve Welsh nurse well past his prime but with oodles of charm
You are not alone. You will have to join a long queue to win his attention and without a name you've got buckleys:) Signed anonymous cowardly time waster.
We've all got names kylie, it's just that some of us choose not to publish them. Our choice. Unless we want to go down the route of ridiculous made up names, there are many of those here.
I am loving the Lisping Choir! Went back and watched the original 1985 american production......... made me a bit sad to see so many of the original particpants are now gone.....but the message is strong and remains pertinent........ even the Lispers *have it* ! Thank you! Susan M/ Calif
Wild birds in the garden can be so distressing and worrying - Your wonderful trip is something I'd love to experience -Can't leave my furry family though x π» πΆπ―
What a lovely start to a sunny Saturday morning in rural Lancashire, thank you John. Shame about the blackbird , think we’ve got a nest in the front hedge .
Hearing this transported me back to the first time I heard this song on the radio. As then, it moves me to tears. A lovely arrangement, performed very well. Thank you, John, for sharing this wonderful choir. I'd never have found them on my own.

ReplyDeleteThat's a great musical performance.
ReplyDeleteI came across a very 'unafraid' baby Blackbird yesterday. It sat on a low branch and just looked at me.

ReplyDeleteI would want seats where I could see her and the rest at the side of this venue. Hope yours are just where you want them to be.
