Spitalfield’s Vase

The dogs have been spoilt rotten by Trendy Carol and her hubby, but were still happy to see me. We’ve had a long walk this morning in the showers and they
are now steaming quietly in the kitchen reading chair and are asleep.
It’s the charity concert by the village MaleVoice Choir in aid of the TCA tonight, but in the meantime I’m doing chores
I bought this vase at Spitalfields Market and filled it with garden flowers

Are you singing tonight or is that a different choir? I love Welsh male choirs! Your blooms look so nice in the new vase. In Toronto we are now into “clean up the garden” days, leaves, pine needles, flowers that are finished etc. Before we know it will be clean up the snow. Gigi

  6. Your garden flowers have lasted well. Ours have been beaten to death by the gales.
    Love the vase.

  7. I love that vase. Is it old? The flowers look perfect in it, too. Hope the concert is well attended and the weather doesn't deter too many! xx

  10. You know with all the tales of your London escapade, minus the room shower incident, you make me want to go back to my old home town ' Lundun ' that is. I might just dip my toe in for a day or two.
I am glad that you both had a lovely time there and l adore that pottery vase.

You have a good eye - the vase is perfect for mixed flowers and would be nice later in the year with evergreens and berries. Not that I'm trying to rush the seasons!

Love the image of the dogs gently steaming. I bet they add a homey aroma too - I quite like wet dog smell.
