Water Gardens

This afternoon I met an old friend for savoury pancakes at the Dutch Pancake House up in the sticks at The Water Gardens, Rowen Conwy. It’s a pretty place with lakes and ponds filled with ducks and an Enclosure of otters which was fun.

I got there early and explored a dilapidated church nearby.
Out for lunch in the country makes you feel as though you’ve been out for the full day .
When I got home I found  my newest ( and poshest) Walking Dead T shirt had been delivered,a kind gift from Georgian Jackie D.
Thank you deArheart

Off to meet Hannah Blythyn who is a Welsh Politician and member of the Welsh Senedd ( The Welsh Government ) at  the Memorial Hall with the other TCA members.

Getting her interest in the future of the hall  could prove useful

Funny, my grandson texted me this morning to see if he could take me out for lunch. We just got home from a pancake, bacon and egg lunch. Now I am stuffed and in need of a nap..yours sounded a bit posh, but bet they were yummy. Hope the politician was impressed with how the hall is serving your community and all the hard work you have put in. GG

Yhe old curch and surroundings sound lovely and the pancakes sound even better! I have always enjoyed going out to lunch more than having dinner out. Wonderful pictures and that new Tee is the bees knees!

    Hugs!

  15. I much prefer going out in the evening. If I eat a proper meal at lunchtime it makes me very tired. If I do the same in the evening I go to bed happy.

  16. I too like going out for a leisurely lunch. But sitting outside in the sunshine, and a siesta afterwards might be nice too.
