Wrap

Lazy morning
Coffee, breakfast and online newspaper .
I’m doing an extra overtime shift later at work
I can recommend this low calorie breakfast wrap

Left over sushi rice and beans flavoured with rice wine
Two large table spoons of 0% yogurt,
Mix with one avocado
Season with lemon juice, salt and pepper
Add fresh coriander
Wrap in low calorie tortilla wrap

Yes of course he did flis - why don't you start your own blog then those who are interested can visit you there - you have lots to say but it's always on other blogs rather than your own

  3. I'll pass on the wrap - can't stand avocado, tastes like soap to me, and hate coriander. I'm into a slice of pumpernickel with Marmite for breakfast, at the moment, which will send shivers down some spines I know! xx

  4. I'm just on a cup of black coffee and a slice of seeded bread toast with homemade marmalade this week. I seem to have weeks of fancying one thing and then move on. It's been known to be cold pizza some mornings. :-)

  11. I would prefer a bacon and egg sandwich. Grill bacon. Fry egg. Place between two slices of buttered Hovis white bread and gobble up. Wash down with a pint of tea.

  13. A nice easy shift would be ideal today. Your a wrap looks excellent. I love avocado. I had a tuna, greens and tomato wrap recently. Wraps are nice summer time meals.

    2. Oh but there are, if you live in the Arizona desert. A bowl full of chicken chilli. containing Navy beans, tomollio and the chopped grilled chicken breasts along with other seasonings. This will then cover a plate of scambled eggs along with glass of grapefruit juce and coffee on the side. This will get you up and going, in which to do your best for a day starting at 4am all the way to 6pm.

  15. Your bfast wrap looks healthy and very delicious. It is perhaps not ''low cal'' tho. I am estimating about 600-plus calories. One avocado 168 cal/ 1/2 cup of beans 114C/ 1/2C sushi rice a whopping 246C. Sushi rice is a white rice, a high sugar/ high carb rice that spikes blood sugar. Consider switching to brown rice?

I agree Lizzy, I thought the same as you. Cut out the sushi rice and avocado if you want it to be low calorie! Is your information from your slimming club John?

  20. I had a wrap also, local thick sliced bacon, a local egg, some blue cheese crumbled on top, and a tortilla I got from a local vendor who was making them curbside in her truck. Quite tasty.

  22. Sounds delicious John. We do wraps here when the little grandchildren are eating with us, as it avoids the arguments from their parents that start "Use your knife and fork" and continue "USE YOUR KNIFE AND FORK" . . . and what's more, food you've put into a wrap yourself tastes heaps better, doesn't it!
