Lazy morning
Coffee, breakfast and online newspaper .
I’m doing an extra overtime shift later at work
I can recommend this low calorie breakfast wrap
Two large table spoons of 0% yogurt,
Mix with one avocado
Season with lemon juice, salt and pepper
Add fresh coriander
Wrap in low calorie tortilla wrap
Looks good John. I am always pleased to read how well you look after yourself. Much love
ReplyDeleteCooking for myself initially was a chore, now it’s a way of being kind to myself. I hope that makes sense
DeleteI have a much lower calorie breakfast.
ReplyDelete1. Coffee
2. Fag
You're welcome x
Oh mave , thank god for you today, I ve birdied myself silly with this post
DeleteMy dad had a fag and coffee from dawn to dusk x ☕🚬
DeleteYes of course he did flis - why don't you start your own blog then those who are interested can visit you there - you have lots to say but it's always on other blogs rather than your own
DeleteI am a chatterbox💃
DeleteI'll pass on the wrap - can't stand avocado, tastes like soap to me, and hate coriander. I'm into a slice of pumpernickel with Marmite for breakfast, at the moment, which will send shivers down some spines I know! xx
ReplyDeleteMarmite….nice on pasta
DeleteI'm just on a cup of black coffee and a slice of seeded bread toast with homemade marmalade this week. I seem to have weeks of fancying one thing and then move on. It's been known to be cold pizza some mornings. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnother day off to a good start
ReplyDeleteAnother piss boring blog entry more like
DeleteI like sour dough bread - and also pumpernikel like HH enjoys - rocket I sowed last year is still producing - The furry ones are keeping it watered for me - bless them x 🌯
ReplyDeleteI find pumpernikel too hard to eat ..it’s hard work
DeleteThanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeleteYou’re welcome x
DeleteYour meals are always so creative and look delicious!
ReplyDeleteI like Cheerios with blueberries for breakfast. :)
Hope today's shift is calm and pleasant.
Hugs!
I’m not a lover of sweet stuff and out of all fruit I hate blueberries the most
DeleteI'll happily take your share of the blueberries in the world since you doon't want them! Ta!
DeleteYour meals look yummy, John. I have the same thing every morning - bowl of Cheerios. Boring me!
ReplyDeleteA bit sweet for me
DeleteThe wrap looks good. Was that a recipe? I fell asleep. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteyes todays blog is incredibly boring
DeleteHow rude Mitchell!
DeleteI found this to be a delightful post.
It had nothing to with the blog. I always fall asleep during the recipe!
DeleteI know that but my friend it WAS bloody boring x
DeleteYou are never boring, John. I was replying to Anonymous who came to your defense. Argh!
DeleteI would prefer a bacon and egg sandwich. Grill bacon. Fry egg. Place between two slices of buttered Hovis white bread and gobble up. Wash down with a pint of tea.
ReplyDeleteI would too YP
DeleteI ADORE a cooked breakfast
Sounds awfully complicated. By the time I managed it it wouldn't be 'breakfast time' any more.
ReplyDeleteGood point raymondo. X
DeleteA nice easy shift would be ideal today. Your a wrap looks excellent. I love avocado. I had a tuna, greens and tomato wrap recently. Wraps are nice summer time meals.
ReplyDeleteIt was quiet , which makes a change
DeleteI add chunked cooked chicken breast to the mix.
ReplyDeleteOoohhh that’s dinner not breakfast x
DeleteOh but there are, if you live in the Arizona desert. A bowl full of chicken chilli. containing Navy beans, tomollio and the chopped grilled chicken breasts along with other seasonings. This will then cover a plate of scambled eggs along with glass of grapefruit juce and coffee on the side. This will get you up and going, in which to do your best for a day starting at 4am all the way to 6pm.
DeleteYour bfast wrap looks healthy and very delicious. It is perhaps not ''low cal'' tho. I am estimating about 600-plus calories. One avocado 168 cal/ 1/2 cup of beans 114C/ 1/2C sushi rice a whopping 246C. Sushi rice is a white rice, a high sugar/ high carb rice that spikes blood sugar. Consider switching to brown rice?
ReplyDeleteI agree Lizzy, I thought the same as you. Cut out the sushi rice and avocado if you want it to be low calorie! Is your information from your slimming club John?
Deletesmall amounts of both ladies , the taste is divine
DeleteWe call that a burrito, but you call it whatever you like! Still delicious...
ReplyDeleteWE call it a wrap!
DeleteYour breakfast wrap looks delicious... and the entire photo would make a lovely still life painting.
ReplyDeleteVery HOMES AND gardens especially with the roses artfully positioned
DeleteYum!! And the photo makes an excellent still life. :)
ReplyDeleteSee above x
DeleteI did x
ReplyDeleteThat looks tasty..I would try that for a teatime snack
ReplyDeleteI had a wrap also, local thick sliced bacon, a local egg, some blue cheese crumbled on top, and a tortilla I got from a local vendor who was making them curbside in her truck. Quite tasty.
ReplyDeleteCarefully curated photo
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious John. We do wraps here when the little grandchildren are eating with us, as it avoids the arguments from their parents that start "Use your knife and fork" and continue "USE YOUR KNIFE AND FORK" . . . and what's more, food you've put into a wrap yourself tastes heaps better, doesn't it!
