Worth

Tonight Gorgeous Dave and I went to see the darkly comic play Worth at the Storyhouse in Chester .
It turned out to be a rather brutal and harsh essay on a Uk/ Chinese family dynamic at a matriarch’s funeral and although not faultless it sparked a robust conversation about grief and families  on our way home

Good company to have on this outing and what sounds like an interesting conversation on the way home. Am not sure about the play itself, though. and will have to look it up.
Welome , make that Welcome home!

    Hugs!

  2. Often you see the best of people at weddings, and the worst of people at funerals.

  3. I always think funerals are rather surreal events, and never as bad as you think they're going to be. The play sounds rather intense. xx

My dog is sitting watching the marching at the start of the coronation. Her ears are flapping when she hears the shouting of commands. She has never bothered with tv before. Maybe its because we got up at an ungodly hour.. nice she has cuddled up on my knee. Happy coronation day John. GG
