Laburnum and Marina
Mrs Trellis was more chatty today. She was hurrying because she’d left stew simmering but stopped long enough to call “ Your Laburnum is glorious “ over her privet.
I went to see it
Indeed it does look glorious
This afternoon I drove to Conwy Marina to meet my college friends for dinner. I’ve never been to the marina before and it was as glorious as my laburnum.
Your lovely laburnum speaks for the future and your dinner with college friends speaks of your past. Hope each of you at the dinner has a joyful time, filled with laughter and good food. Love the boats, too.
On a summer day mum and aunty sat chatting under a laburnum tree drinking tea - mum whispered to me "don't touch or eat the seeds or pods - they are poisonous" - I was scared - Also "don't climb up on the chair and touch the blue glass bottle in the top shelf " - poison ! x

The laburnum tree is in flower and looking very beautiful. It makes a great focal point. The marina seems to have a majority of sailboats in the slips. That signals a nice sailing community of people. Given the opportunity, you might consider going for a sail.
