Venice

Thank fuck for that ….covid neg today.
I was out minutes after the swab and with my friend Colin in Liverpool within an hour where I soaked up my weight watchers extra points on a fab Lebanese lunch ( no pud)
It’s so nice to sit in a window of a nice cafe and talk and eat and talk more.
We gossiped like old ladies do in Central Park on a Sunday.
Towards the end of lunch Colin turned to me and said
“ Do you know what, I really fancy going to Venice for a few days do you want to come?”
I said yes before he could take another slurp of his foul mudammas
How good is that ?

Lebby food is fab. Had a wonderful two week holiday in Lebanon several years back - incredible food and wonderful sights. My big regret we didn’t go to Damascus…my Lebby friend said “it will be there for next time”…it isn’t.

Venice is a fabulous city. We rented an apartment for a week. Shopped at the Rialto market and had Prosecco on the roof top terrace of the apartment - wonderful.

We spent more on glass than the rest of the holiday.

I too wondered why you said "she" is there a particular way of writing that differentiates between males and females?
If so which am I? Obviously I'll not sign in with my name!

happy hooker there's also the poossibility it's someone who is housebound or poor (or both)and unable to travel on "fantastic trips"
We don't all have the surplus finances that John has. (no offence meant there john)

    9. They may be poor or housebound or any number of reasons why they can't travel, but that's no excuse for nastiness. That's all I meant.

I don't think anyone regrets self care, but later I think people regret "I should have, I could have". It is good to Seize the Day and Live to the Fullest!

  24. I loved Venencia, been there several times. We stayed on Lido Is, a 10 min. ferry taxi ride away, quiet and less expensive, and better lodging for the euro. Enjoy, it's one of my favorite places.
