This is so nice. I have followed your blog, as well as Meanqueen's blog, for a very long time. I always look forward to reading them; you're both very inspiring in many ways.
Why am I not surprised that you and Ilona are blogland mates? Two of the very best blogs, always interesting, uplifting and fun. Between you, you make my day! Not at all surprised she has made a donation; she is only meanqqueen in all the ight ways! Well done, thee both of you.
Ilona really is a good egg! Her blog is no longer Meanqueen but is called Love my Life. She is funny, kind and pragmatic. Thank you for letting us know about her generosity and I bet the TCA committee are thrilled to bits.
Ooooh eck, now I am embarrassed. Meanqueen came about before I started a blog. I joined a money saving and simple living forum and had to think of a name quickly. Can't get rid of it now ;-)
What a risky way to send a donation. I sent a small package containing money in the post to my granddaughter for her birthday and it didn't arrive. Neither did a birthday card with money enclosed for my Son, I'd put the card in a brown business envelope so it wasn't obvious it was a card. I won't send money through the post again.

ReplyDeleteI remember when Ilona visited. Crikey where have six years gone?
ReplyDeleteShe's a lovely lady isn't she, and despite her blog name she's the most generous of people to her friends and to her animals.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to see that photo of the two of you again.
