Froth and Rubbish

Days are like Pants

Up one day, down the next.
I’m not down today, just a bit fazed.
There needs a lightness of touch from somewhere
Something frothy and perky.

Unfortunately there’s not much froth and perk about today.
Apart from Roger who has just learned how to masturbate

Anyhow I went to the TCA members meeting which reminded  me I have a lot to do
And the day is cold and grey and unappealing as it was yesterday.

I’ve arranged to meet my sister to see the Lily Allen rom com What’s love got to do with it ?
Which will be the frothy bit of rubbish I need today.

  2. Hope you find just enough "frothiness" to get you through your grey and cloudy day, John. Spring time must surely be coming soon with it's blue skies and daffodils. Feels like this Winter has been particularly dark for many of us and I hope you know that your posts, which I don't consider to be "frothy", are oftentimes just the boost I read to help get through the days. Your insights regarding the human condition remind me often that there are kind and lovely people in this life and that we are not always alone. Thank you, sir. Hope you find the cheering up you're looking for. Take care. A friend from Kentucky.

  4. There was a cheeky frenchie doing that on the doggie behaviourist programme the other evening - They didn't want guests witnessing it so he now goes to his bed in his kennel crate when he has the urge - Happily all I have here is a bit of humping from my romanian x 🐐

  5. Teenagers! Who'd have 'em? We all need a bit of froth and nonsense from time to time. It's what keeps us sane (ish). xx

Had to laugh at your analogy about days being like pants. You should write that book, you know.
Hope the movie is just the tonic for the gllomy day. Janet will surely help your mood, too.

    Hugs!

A few chilly grey days to come John by the sound of the forecast - but cheer up - sun is getting warmer.

    2. My lovely big sister has always lived at least 50 miles away since I was at secondary school more than 40 years ago. My big brother did live nearer until he retired but for the last 8 years has lived 80 miles away. Not horrendously far but as I work full-time shifts in the NHS and have our 90 year old mum nearby visits have to be planned rather than spontaneous.
