  8. Merry Christmas to you too John. May it be merry and bright; I hope Roger and Dorothy behave themselves in time for a cocktail sausage or two. Enjoy the peace. Much love.

A very happy Xmas to you and your family (two footed, four footed or otherwise). Give Albert a virtual hug from me.

Let’s hope 2023 treats the world better than 2022 did.

Bought some black pudding today….scotch eggs on the agenda.

Thank you for your blog John
I am writing as I sit next to the bed in which my husband sleeps
He was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in November 21, and the cancer has ravaged through his body
This will be his last Christmas with us ( and the last one I will celebrate as I will not honour the holiday after his death)
Our adult children are home, and the amazing team at our local hospice are holding our family in their care

So thank you too for the care you provide to all those individuals and families at this hardest time in life

    I wish you a happy 2023
    Siobhan
