The View From My Kitchen Table

I’m not sure what I’m doing today.
The new washing machine was supposed to be delivered but that’s been delayed until tomorrow.
I’m sat eating brunch which is an air fried sausage on mozzarella bagel delight and am looking out of the door onto the patio pondering my day.

I’ve been pondering for almost two hours now.
I’m an excellent ponderer.
Coffee cup getting filled just twice.
I’ve finally booked to see the Spanish movie El Buen Patrón tonight at the Storyhouse
Which pleased me .

  2. I can procrastinate with the best of them. Being retired (woohoo!) means there's rarely any rush to do anything, which suits my innate lazy streak. Your patio looks inviting, and I can now visualise where CBM is going to cover it. xx

  3. The view out your window is quite lovely ... so cool and serene!

  5. Choices and more choices. What's a girl to do? Seize the moment. What's your pleasure? You do have a nice view out to the patio. The breakfast of champions certainly prepares you for the day!

  6. Excellent choice of activity John (if pondering can be described as an activity). I refer you to the great Welsh poet W.H.Davies and his 1911 poem 'Leisure' if you need backup. X

What a lovely view from your kitchen table and it's a good place for pondering. That does sound like a winnie-the-Pooh thing to do. It's nice not to be in a hurry, isn't it?
    Happy August 1st and hugs!

  11. I see you watch movies while nibbling! I'm off to see the always incredible Lesley Manville in 'Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris' this afternoon. . . . . with a girlfriend as our men wouldn't be interested in French fashion and fun!

  17. It looks so pretty and peaceful. You should try sketching or painting your views, add to your upcoming book. Does air frying make a healthier way to prep foods? and...did the anti-bark machine come yet? Did it quell Charlie's barking?

  19. I don't call it anything, it doesn't need a name for me. Sitting doing nothing and enjoying it is part of most of my days. Decision making is quick and spontaneous for me and doesn't take up much time.

  24. I'm an excellent ponderer, Alan worries if he sees me doing it for too long though ... he's most likely wondering what I'm coming up with next. (My view isn't as lovely as yours though!)
