So cute in your little school (?) uniforms and t-strap shoes! I wore that t-strap style when I was little too. Guess they were all the rage for kids then.
I have twin fraternal grandsons. They are almost one. I am fascinated by their very different personalities. Their experiences have been exactly the same particularly with the isolation of covid. I'm treating them as a case study with tons of grandma love thrown in of course. Nature seems to be stronger than nurture as an influence, would you agree or do you and your sister share a similar temperament?
I remember a woman I knew who had twins, a boy and a girl. Someone once asked her if they were identical. Her reply, "Well, one's a boy and one's a girl, work it out!" xx
That is a very cute photo - you look so happy, and proud of yourselves. I loved your comment about Andrew's non-appearance at the Jubilee festivities. Telling Her Majesty her darling boy was sick may have been the only way they could think of, of keeping him out of the way. Meanwhile he's been biffed over the noggin and hidden in a dungeon somewhere!!
Back in the day, was there ever a British child who never got fitted for a pair of Clarks 'Joyance' real leather sandals with the bouncy crepe rubber soles? Made from 1933 until 1972, always so comfy, especially with ankle socks! That's an adorable photo John. My mum had a twin brother and twin sisters! Mary -

DeleteDidn't Christopher Robin wear shoes like that in E.H. Shepard's illustrations for "Winnie the Pooh"? That's how I remember them, anyway.
DeleteI love that photo of the two of you - so cute and sweet!
