I parked outside Conwy and Mary and I walked into the town across the suspension bridge which sits in the shadow of the ancient castle.
It's getting brighter but We are not aiming to sit out.im off to the pub to meet with work friends.
At the art deco Albion Pub which welcomes dogs.
My sister Janet and I are going to Theatre Clwyd later, so itsa day of two halves
When we were in Conwy I had no idea how close we were to you. I wish I had known and we could have met, only for us both to be disillusioned with each other. Or maybe not.
ReplyDeleteYes I remember telling you at the time we could have met ….
DeleteI hopefully think I would have made you laugh
There is a very nice small hotel a short walk from there. Delightful! Take the train from station across the bridge, there is much more service than Conwy.
ReplyDeleteYes, I met you in the castle hotel.
DeleteIt was busy today david
I like Conwy. It has cafes where Welsh is spoken.
ReplyDeletePeople born within the town walls are called Jackdaws
DeleteWrap up warm and enjoy the two halves of your day. xx
ReplyDeleteWill do x
DeleteThat sounds like a fun filled day, (especially the pub!) We have a dog-friendly pub close by that we love to visit. Sadly, our dog can't join us. Sitting calmly while other dogs are near by is not doable for him. There would be a scene.
ReplyDeleteThat’s why Mary came .she’s well behaved . Dorothy stayed home with Albert
DeleteHope bboth of you enjoy it Presumably Mary spays in the cars for your heatre visit,
ReplyDeleteNo I went home first pat
DeleteAre you going to see "Milky Peaks"? Is it based on Trelawnyd?
ReplyDeleteI will be seeing that play next week . This is the play tonight

ReplyDeleteIt’s a lovely town
DeleteLooks a good day and a good time.
ReplyDeleteI love Conwy, it's the last holiday I took with my mother before she passed. I hope you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteMy thatch could be Mary's naughty brother-someone told me last week they think he's a Welsh terrier-he has the feet of a bear and tail of a erect stiff thingimy bob x
