The dogs were walked until they dropped today.
I left them sleeping for a couple of hours and met my friend Sarah for tea in All Bar One which was lovely
I then picked up my old mucca Mike from work and we walked the dogs then went to the pub ,just around the corner for a few drinks and chats which was also lovely .
I’ll leave you with a photo of the village hall in Trelawnyd
The collection for items to support the refugees in the Ukraine arrived today
It's lovely to see Dorothy without the harness x
ReplyDeleteGreat photo of you and the dogs.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a delightful day, join the dogs for a nap
ReplyDeleteYou all look smartly colour coordinated John-as the Crufts contestants x
ReplyDeleteYes, great photo of you and your dogs, and of the goodly bit for Ukrainian refugees.
ReplyDeleteI still can't get used to you with only the two dogs. It doesn't seem natural. Beautiful scenery.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place to walk Mary and Dorothy and also to center yourself while on holiday. You and the dogs are certainly color coordinated, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a marvelous array of donated goods for Ukraine have arrived at the Trelawnyd village hall. You and your fellow villagers have wonderfully big hearts.
Hugs!
Well done to your fellow villagers. I hope it all soon reaches its destination. I have made a small financial donation to a humanitarian charity, so maybe it will pay for a pint of petrol to drive your donations where they're needed.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if it's really working out for you all taking the dogs away with you on your break. Lovely place for a walk too! Hopefully something will improve with the journey for Dorothy.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure whether to donate goods or money for Ukraine because of the logistics of transporting them but, where I live, the Polish community are managing to take the items there. Your village has a big heart.
Just read previous post and realise maybe it hasn't all been easy taking the dogs to the Air B&B for the first time. Hope it can be better next time as it has its advantages taking them.
DeleteA good long walk before the journey home may mean Dorthy sleeps rather than yowls! The Polish community here are collecting items, too. I just hope Putin realises that the majority of the world is against him. xx
ReplyDeleteI used to walk Olga until she dropped, but nowadays that's practically just down the block!
ReplyDeleteI bet the dogs are enjoying the break as much as you are. Nice to see you out and about with them.
ReplyDeleteThe countryside paths and views are quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how ever did you get the barkng dog home.
ReplyDeleteWonderful collection too.
I hope the dogs are enjoying the change of scenery as much as you are! Something new to sniff, anyway...
ReplyDeleteNice lot of stuff collected John and the change of scenery will have done those dogs as much good as it has done you.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo of you and the pups.
