  2. Oh such happy memories. Also remember meeting you in London to see Meatloaf in concert and you & Pam missing the train home, so coming to stay with me! He was an absolute LEGEND. As are you my dear! Nia x

What a great memory of good times.
RIP Meatloaf. I loved most of the music, too.

    Hugs!

  7. In the back of a friend's car with my boyfriend (now husband) on our way to a weekend away. It was to be our first night together and our friend plays a song by Meatloaf '...we're gonna go all the way tonight...'. I was so embarrassed.

  8. Covid anti-vax strikes again. In memorandum and for old times sake, organize a skating party. Sounds like fun to me.

I've read your words again - yes it still reads the same. All those people travelling home on Tuesday nights in an Austin 1300.
As an ex English teacher I stand my ground!

  15. There's a report he died of covid because he refused to take any covid precautions and "refused to be controlled". If it's true, I wonder if he considered all the people who would feel a huge sense of loss.

    1. Anti-vaxxers consider no-one but themselves unfortunately. What a waste of a life that could so easily have gone on for many more years, and sad that he'll be remembered for taking a totally unnecessary risk.

  16. Nothing to do with the man, butI just don't get why his music was so popular, sorry.

  17. I imagine all of us of a certain age can remember how Meat Loaf touched our teen-aged lives! For me it was seeing him (over and over) in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," and my college roommate had his "Bat Out of Hell" album, as I recall.
