I’ve just got back to Bwthyn Y Llan
I’ve seen my sisters and their husbands , my nephews, niece, and great nieces and it was a loud cacophony of Christmases missed.
I’ve had a lovely day, a bit of cry on the way home and have watched a pitch perfect Queen’s Speech with a nice cup of builder’s tea
The dogs have climbed aboard, as they always do
And just like that, Christmas is almost over
It passes in the blink of an eye doesn't it and yet so many hopes are pinned on the big day. Here's hoping 2022 is a good year for you John. xxx
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas John. We're all sick here. Maybe we'll celebrate next weekend. I'm glad you had your cup filled.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good day.
ReplyDeleteHere's to celebrating again next year
A perfect day spent with family, both human and furred. Happy memories made. xx
ReplyDeleteA Happy Yuletide Season dear one.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds a lovely one though
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas to you !
I'm the host this year and am still waiting for my two late parent in laws to arrive. As much as I enjoy Christmas dinner, I much prefer the end of the evening with tv, dessert and a cup of tea. Merry Christmas...enjoy what's left of the evening.
ReplyDeleteAre you stuffed John?-oops sorry-(I can't help myself)xx
ReplyDeleteVile and totally unnecessary sullying of a sweet Christmas Day post.

ReplyDeleteLovely photo and sounds like a nice Christmas
ReplyDeleteI hope there were some good tears in there for all the love you have. Christmas has only just begun here. We’ve still got Three Kings Day to look forward to... although I expect we’ll have no parades. Wishing you a contented night’s sleep. Don’t lose sight of those sugar plums.
