Am doing the tests before seeing family this Christmas. They had run out of them at my local chemist. Your Christmas family time sounded perfect. I also know how memories can catch us out in the quiet moments. A joyful time touched with sadness which passes just like that. Hope you have a peaceful day at work.
One thing that's lovely about being retired is that I don't see 6am unless I want to! Bother about the daily test but needs must. When did that start? Wishing you, the staff, and the patients a lovely day.
Merry Christmas to you, John. I know this will get lost in your comments but I also thank you for the joy you bring me. I try to never miss a post. The honesty with which you write gives me comfort.
Hope it was a good result, and thank you for working through the holidays, I really appreciate everyone who keep the country and life turning while most of us chill out and relax.
For about the fifth year in a row my son has been on shift throughout Christmas. His Christmas with his girlfriend consisted of 4 hours on Christmas Eve and then from 11am until 2pm on Christmas Day, then he was back at work ... no doubt clutching some turkey sandwiches for break time at his desk.
Ah yes. Do you report your results? We have to test regularly for school and I always report the results as requested to the NHS, though I'm not sure what good it does when they're negative. I figure that way at least they know the test was used.
Have a great day at work John! And no "Boxing" your work colleagues!

Sounds like you had a great Christmas Eve and day itself. Hope the Christmas spirit continues today at work and it's not too arduous.
