If Winnie was still here, this is how she would look this morning
I hope everyone reading this will have at least a peaceful day.
It’s been a funny old two years, has it not?
Slightly easier of late, but still a time
of challenges and some sadness.
But like the shopworn Carlotta out of Follies we can say
I’m still here
Happy Christmas
You can say that again. 2021 has been shite for most of us. Let's hope 2022 will be a bit better, eh? Happy Christmas.

Lovely to look back at Winnie she was a diva just looking at the Christmas 2018 photo on the sidebar seems so long ago now, these past two year have been strange and unsettling but grateful to still be here just have to carry on and try and make the best of things.
ReplyDeleteWinnie made me laugh. It has been a rough year for everyone, I think, but despite all that, when I read blogs, I find fellow humans plodding on right along with me. In the midst of all that plodding, there have been some truly wonderful moments shared. Thank you John for being part of that encouraging world.
ReplyDeleteThank you John for sharing you life and times with us..
ReplyDeleteI remember dear Winnie..such a star.
Here's to a grand new year and many wonders to come
