LOL ... friends abound for you at the moment! So much to enjoy! I don't believe I have ever seen you clean shaven in the time I've been reading your blog! I've only been here a couple, maybe 3, years now and every picture shows you with the beard and mustache! I guess the pic of you with your friend, Rol, has you clean shaven but you were still a young lad at that time! LOL Polly truly looks happy to see you ... beard and all! 🤨
How delightful to meet up with yet another friend to share a meal! Polly has a wonderful smile. Oh, do keep the facial foliage as it becomes you and it will keep you warmer during the winter cold to come! DH has always had at least a mustache and during the last couple of decades he's had a goatee, too. He once decided to shave it all off while I was at work and I wasn't quite sure who was opening the back door to me!
Unkempt beards, esp with lots of grey can be aging? You never know when you'll bump into Mr Right, you need to look your best. Maybe a good barber in the village could smarten you up.
A November walk on the beach together is always perfect. Lunch and conversation together fills out the day nicely. We wait to see the soon to happen: trim and haircut with your stylist.

DeleteI look like a hairy hamster
Hamsters are soooo cute! LOL
DeleteA trim maybe, but not a shave. The weather may be grey, but I bet you both felt brighter for meeting up. xx
ReplyDeleteWe had a lovely catch up
DeleteIt's 'Movember' John. Now is not the time to shave the tache & beard! You can legitimately claim to be staying hirsute for a good cause.
ReplyDeleteI will hide it under my mask lol
DeleteThat baseball cap gets around. Hope it's washable!
ReplyDeleteI found it out on a walk
DeleteYou don't need a shave, in my ever-humble opinion (sometimes otherwise known as overbearing opinionating...).
ReplyDeleteIt’s too fuzzy and needs a good thinning..land for the record I’ve always valued your opinion xx

ReplyDeleteDon't have a shave - winter arrives next week apparently - then every whisker will count.

ReplyDeleteYou're quite the social butterfly of late! I'm sure it does your heart a world of good. I will add my vote in favor of the facial fur.
ReplyDeleteYou look happy, grey day or not.
ReplyDeleteHaving compared the photos of you with your beard neatly trimmed and this one I agree that a trim is in order.
