Lovely! I love how flowers seek the light and find it even between a stone wall and steps!
    Enjoy your delightful plans. :)

    Hugs!

  6. I love it when seedlings grow in unlikely places. I wish my 1 Welsh poppy would seed everywhere, but no joy. Each year I live in hope! I don't know how you keep going after a night shift, I'd be dead on my feet. Enjoy the theatre. Going with anyone special? xx

  7. One of my favourite flowers, they grew well in our garden in Galloway. When I went back to see the house some 36 years later, they were still going strong and still to this day. I've bought seed for my new garden here, hoping they'll be happy. Who couldn't love a poppy? Looking forward to more on the pilgrims :)

    2. "Cake to spare sounds good", so you were well sorted and you spread some kindness to people who were acting out of good intent. Goodness abounds!

  21. Your yellow Welsh poppy is quite beautiful. It's amazing how plants can appear in the most unexpected places. Somehow, the odds are exceeded and nature takes the reins. I expect if you or I planted a poppy in that spot it would not survive.
