Too funny! I'm with everyone else who is humming or singing 'YMCA'. And I do believe that God (as you imagine Him/Her) has a great sense of humor. How else do you explain giraffes, owls, and even frogs?
How to explain... Not my joke. Try asking evolution by natural selection, it does the seemingly wackiest of things given time. The waddling penguins with flightless wings complained to me about it but I just told them I only set the crazy ball rolling, not bothering much where it goes... Often wish I hadn't, but Earth was just an early attempt, sorry. I got better. Just your tough luck.
