It’s Tuesday isn’t it?
I wasn’t sure. Weigh in day
I’ve lost 8 lbs
Bloody hell
I’m off to Mostyn Gallery today.
Theatre with Gorgeous Dave tomorrow night
A new book to start to read tonight after gardening.
The road remains closed , but hey , I rather like the peace with no rat run traffic
It wasn’t a big deal in the first place.
The sun is shining, and the view from my bedroom window is all green
Congratulations on the weight loss, as I get older I find scales to be very dangerous places.
ReplyDeleteEspecially if u have to step up on them
DeleteI can tell by my jeans waistband without scales that the flab has arrived but I refuse to get a bigger size though-and I'm sorry to have unburdened myself of my own problems last night which I believe added negatively to a passing remark you made-anyway you have stunning views John which flows from your land with a meander through xx
ReplyDeleteDear flis..no worries
DeleteA beautiful view -- you'd be the envy of a lot of people having that to look at every day! Good job on the weight loss.
ReplyDeleteYes, it’s nice to see things through someone else’s eyes x
DeleteEnjoy you day John.
ReplyDelete"Yesterday's gone..." as many old songs do say.
Best wishes.
If you wake up and don't want to smile
DeleteIf it takes just a little while
Open your eyes and look at the day
You'll see things in a different way
Yes, it is Tuesday (although I had to check!) I think I found that 8lbs you lost, I'm guessing you don't want it back? Hope the gallery, theatre, book and green help lift the depression. Enjoy it all, you've earned it. xx
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome to it xxx
DeleteI'm with you John! I've also managed to drop the 8 lbs gain COVID was responsible for after learning to bake bread . . . . . and then eating far too much of it. . . . . during those first lockdown months in 2020!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful view - would make a lovely painting to add to your art wall.
Hugs, Mary
I’ve stopped making bread and pasta .....stopped gin , no cake
DeleteWhat a beautiful view, enough to make the heart sing. Very well done on the weight loss. I think it arrived by airmail here, I seem to have found many people's lost weight and no-one seems to want it back. Love Ro xxx

DeleteApropos of your previous post (about being quick to anger, etc.): I think we're all suffering from a degree of PTSD from the pandemic. Just as we had to adjust to lockdowns, etc., it will take a while to adjust to the lifting of restrictions. These are and have been strange times, and we need to forgive ourselves for any bumps in the road we experience as we readjust. Carol in Philadelphia

DeleteI think you are right x
That view! And a walk down (or up) the lane.
ReplyDeleteWithout traffic!!
DeleteBeautiful view! Sounds like you are bouncing back.
ReplyDeleteYes with some help from some good friends
Delete8 pounds loss! Sunshine, beautiful view and things to look forward to. All good
ReplyDeleteThings to look forward to
DeleteUnderwear that fits
All green/All good.
ReplyDeleteAll’s good x
DeleteBeautiful view from the window, and wow, well done on the 8lbs loss. Find something in the cottage that weighs 8lbs and you'll see just how good not carrying that around with you anymore is. 😀
ReplyDeleteMary?
DeleteAww ... is that what she weighs, just the same as Suky 🐕🐕. Yep, strap her to your back and go for a jog 😀
DeleteSunshine we all need more sunshine.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the weight loss.
Lots more to go
DeleteMe,too.
DeleteWhat a beautiful view.
ReplyDeleteDo you think all the walking you did the other day contributed to your weight loss? Congratulations!
Jennifer stopping eating crap contributed the most xx
DeletePut 8lbs of something in a bag and you'll feel how much less you are carrying all the time! Brilliant...keep it up! Probably not at that rate, but a fantastic kick start.
ReplyDeleteIt’s all water at first charlotte x
DeleteFocus on achieving something you really enjoy. Private and personal, in the house, outside the house, in the village, outside the village. Your life. I was reading the other day there is no such thing as time, only life. xxx
ReplyDeleteThat’s what I’ve been doing today .it works x
DeleteHow do you get out if the road is closed? Sounds like the reported UK lockdown continuance does not affect you in Wales? I m happy for you.
ReplyDeletelizzy
I parked up next to the church
DeleteOh John that view is wonderful Plus I think it smells green. When my small path of grass gets cut or how it smells after a rain with Mesquite, PaloVerde Sagebrush Sage, the wet dirt it is lovely.
ReplyDeleteYes it feels green if that makes sense
DeleteYou could possibly try eating beetroot for a boost of rapid weight reduction-but not too much-I ate several bowls of homemade beetroot soup over 3 days outcome being an unexpected startling rumble whilst outdoors fortunately there was a m d's in the distance x
ReplyDeleteIt turns your pee red
Deleteand asparagus green-a rainbow x
DeleteThat is a lovely view - one I would never tire of looking at. Well done on the weight loss! x
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous long view over your sweet garden and across the countryside!
ReplyDeleteApplause for your weight loss and your wonderful plans to today and tomorrow. :)
Choir tonight?
Hugs!
No Jamie is on holiday x
DeleteCongratulations on the weight loss. Lovely view - and so many different greens.
ReplyDeleteThe Welsh countryside looks very lush.
ReplyDeleteI saw my doctor yesterday. The nurse walks me straight past the scale. She says "You still weigh 115, don't you?" and on we go. My b/p never seems to change, but she always takes that, then says "This never changes!"
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your weight loss.
ReplyDeleteMy wardrobe has gained magical powers during lockdowns it has magically shunk my clothes. Do you think if I sat in it for a while it could shrink my size.
Liking your green view!
ReplyDeleteLOVE says it better .. .
