Men Who Sing

How fabulous is this?
The village Male Voice Choir has had a documentary made about it
A film which has its debut in Sheffield’s documentary festival in June
The film can be seen online,
It looks melancholic and rather fun

  5. I watched the trailer and very much want to see the film when it is released. In the trailer someone mentioned "no one under 50", I hope they get some new members and that it continues on for years to come.

  7. Thank you for sharing this - it is wonderful. My paternal grandfather, Hugh William Cooper, sang in the North Shore Male Voice Choir in Auckland, New Zealand back in the 1970s. Despite his first names there is no "Welsh" in the family. Looking forward to the full version!

Totally fabulous and I will certainly plan to see the whole movie!
Are you in London now? If so, have a glorious time and please give Nu a hug from me. If you're not there yet, do have a glorious time when the time comes and save that hug for when Nu is within arm's reach. :)

    Hugs!

  9. Looks entertaining. But I also see that it doesn't flinch on--I keep re-writing this sentence as I flinch myself--on the not-always-cheerful realities involved in a group with a lot of elderly men in it. I hope that one guy does make it across the water to Dublin.

  10. It's great! So good that the choir is well supported and I hope it continues to be. Good too to hear your village name spoken online as I've wondered how it should be spoken correctly.

  11. Fabulous and sad too, to think some of those men will be gone soon. Enjoy yourself in London, with Nu. Stupid sentence - of course you'll enjoy yourself! xx

    1. I was put off joining theMVC as there is an audition xx

    2. Doesn't look as if the audition can be too rigorous, to be frank. You should give it a go, for if rejected the comments on the rejection slip would be fun (for us readers at least).
