My new cheap human head vase from Sainsbury’s , full of garden flowers

Dorothy had made such a good job of my psoriasis covered knees the other week, that I was able to wear shorts for our walk today.
I gave them an extra long walk today as I’m off to Liverpool shortly to see my friend Colin .
Colin was my pre first lockdown potential bf who has turned into a very good friend.
( and before any of you get your knickers all in a twist ..it was my decision)
I’m going to treat myself a visit to John Lewis, where I will get overly excited at their cushion department ( a thing only gays can do properly)
If I buy one I will post later........oh you, lucky people...

  1. I like the vase! What's that book in the background? "Tories to Fake Your Smile"? LOL

  2. Great vase (I am a great fan of "cheap"), wonderful flowers (and free, so even better), John Lewis is far too posh for me, so if I ever make it into 10 Downing Street as Prime Minister I will only charge the taxpayer to bin Boris & Carrie's monstrosities to a skip and get a 1K IKEA and B&Q Minimalist Makeover.

Do I understand correctly that Dorothy licked your knees and it helped your psoriasis? I have psoriasis on my elbows that doesn't respond to medication. I have a dog. I might have to try something new. How many times did she lick you before it made a difference?

  6. Oops...I thought the vase was a jam jar...probably best the face is not too obvious when in use, or it would overshadow the flowers (which look lovely!) It's a modern-day green man.

Love the flowers and your outing to visit Colin and have some retain therapy! I'd like to see the face vase without flower stems to get a better look at the facial features, please.
We use utensil jars, too, and I have many mugs filled with pens, pencils, scissors, and such.

    Hugs!

  13. What a great vase. We have a mini-market, imitation Sainsbury's here. It's called Spainsbury's. I don't think they'll have the vase. If they did, I'd buy one, as well.

  15. Flowers in a vase makes a room cheerful. Flowers from your own garden are especially nice. I'm looking for new cushions too. A geometric pattern in deep cranberry and/or forest green would be ideal. It's a bit of a mission. Enjoy Liverpool!

  17. A thing only gays can do properly? I think not. Jenny gets VERY excited about cushions. She'd buy a dozen every day if she could.
