In Spanish, an "i" is pronounced as a long "e", so perhaps Nigella was thinking in Spanish as she mashed those potatoes. Ya think?!
I couldn't see the first video, but am glad your day was brightened!

    Hugs!

  7. LOL. Very cute. I can't believe she's using a machine to mash potatoes. I love doing it by hand... but then... that is true of so many things. Cheeky. Hugs.

  8. Bizarre. Does she say Meekro-worthy? Mine's just called 'Colin'.

  11. Seemingly it's a bit of a cross Italian/Spanish pronunciation so maybe she was thinking of her years in Italy when she said it, or she could just be playing with us ... look at all the publicity she's got because of one word 😃

Seemingly she's really nice down to earth person in real life. She took Jack M under her wing and introduced her to people and made sure she was okay at first ever awards ceremony. And she's always quick to drop a note round to a friend or acquaintance in trouble.

  12. What I've always wanted to know is - how on Earth does she, digging into, prodding and tasting all that food, manage to keep that sensational figure? [fi-goo-ray?].

  13. I would like to know what the joke is that she seems always to be almost laughing at while stirring a pot or whatever!
