The View From Work

I nearly broadsided one of the wild goats of Llandudno when I got into work this evening
He was a magnificent fellow who gave me the Dead Eye as I drove into the hospice car park.
We are situated a stones through from West Shore and its magnificent views at sunset

Wonderful happenchance for the wild goat, and for you, to be close yet safely so. I suspect you are like me in that accidentally harming any creature would haunt me with sad regrets. - Mary

you boomers are shutting down the entire economy because you're afraid of a flu. Seriously, can you boomers kill yourselves? You are the most selfish generation to ever exist. You don't give a shit about climate change, why should we young people give a shit if you get sick and die of some virus? I HOPE the virus gets much stronger and kills you all.

Do you boomers realize how universally hated you are? There is not one single demographic that does not hate you- white people, black people, asians, mexicans, indians, chinese, millennials, GenX, GenZ. Something tells me that you boomers are not going to have a very comfortable or easy retirement, especially once you end up in the retirement homes.

Can you baby boomers hurry up and fucking drop dead? Enjoy your retirement homes cause we younger people will not take care of you even if we wanted to, due to the shitty economy you boomers created. Do you boomers realize that the younger generation is simply waiting for you to fucking drop dead?

You are all going to end up in retirement homes and we all know that the elderly gets treated pretty badly in retirement homes. Well, that's what you get for ruining your own children's lives. Even if your children WANTED to take care of you, they couldn't, due to you boomers destroying the economy. So I hope you enjoy the retirement homes, boomer scum!

Looks like a zen goat facial expression and those are amazing horns. I'm glad you and Bluebell escaped damage and the goat is probably equally glad.

    Lovely views!

Hope this shift is serene for all.

    Hugs!

  15. Have always fancied a few days in one of those sea front hotels at Llandudno - a walk to the end of the pier and back followed by gin and tonic on the balcony.

  20. Amazing views, massive old goat. I can't imagine calling my insurance company to report that I had a collision with a goat. A friend of my father had to call one time to report that an airplane had landed on his car.

  23. Amazing view from work, John! Lord, you're a fortunate one! And a large goat? Boggles my mind! Woke up to a coyote in the front yard the other day, and thought that was truly a wonder, as we live in a subdivision! I agree with Sue, life is surreal at the moment. I pray I can hold on to the wonder it has brought to me, as well as the appreciation for the small gifts of spotting flora and fauna! As always, thank you for sharing!!!

  24. Oops! Killing one of the goats would have caused a PR nightmare, considering the design of your fund-raising t-shirts!

  27. One good thing about those magnificent horns must be the ability to tilt the neck back a bit and scratch your back, although unfortunately only a very limited thin band of back, which might be maddening as no doubt that would be the very bit that wasn't itchy. One bad thing about those magnificent horns would be discovered if deciding to back out when having got halfway through a wire fence. (Just pondering what evolution has done to goats)… They probably impress prospective partners though.

  29. Taking a break on that bench would be my kind of job perk. Had a bald eagle on a roadside give me quite the "Dead Eye" when he flew over my hood one day. Does no harm to be put in one's place like that!

  35. The goats are magnificent close up aren't they, although I hate to watch them leaping all over the Orme, how the youngsters don't fall as they learn amazes me.

West Shore is our favourite place to walk the dogs ... I think we're missing it as much as them :-(
