Over To You.......

What day is it?
Oh thanks Siri .....
It's Tuesday today
Choir meeting later
Only healthy eating for me today
Homemade bread, spicy homemade soup and fruit salad

I saw this lovely snapshot on Hattie's Facebook page yesterday

So my question to you, my readers today is simple

What thing/s makes your day better?

  10. You have yeast? We have toilet paper once again, but it is only because Americans lack an attention span. We have moved on and now finding bread flour and yeast is impossible. At least bread flour and yeast make more sense, though I couldn't tell you why.

Contact with family and friends; lap time with my calico cat Cassie; good gluten free bread and home made hummus; the Brew Tea Company's lemon and ginger tea; having a working shower after 4 weeks without bath or shower (bathroom renovation was stalled by lockdown until deemed essential by a trade body); being retired after two totally different careers; a snooze in the afternoon; unfettered time and being responsible only for myself and my furry friend; so much to be thankful for, and despite current restrictions I am content with my quiet happy life.

  55. Seeing a happy dog, especially trotting along beside its owner, tail up and with a big 'grin' on its face, always gives me a super lift. It's an animal which can't help but show how it's feeling, and if I see one that's happy then I'm happy.

Having my son, daughter in law and two grand children living only 60 feet away. Daughter in law is like the daughter I didn't have. Our houses are really one living space with some of us sleeping in our own dwellings so we can spend time with each other during our shelter in place. Grand children are 6th generation to be living on this piece of land.
