My pony is the rear one
He will be ready next week
My sisters made heart shaped bowls while I messily fashioned a new cat bowl for Albert ( complete with his name on it !!!!)
Before class I went to the funeral of my Ally mcBeal patient. The dogs sat in Bluebell as I sat in the back row of the crematorium and I cuddled them when we went for a walk after the service.
The last time I sat on the back row of a crem was at my father in laws funeral and it was hard to have the reminder
I never wanted to sit in the cheap seats ever again
I fell asleep in the cottage arm chair when I got home and bloody well missed Choir which annoyed me
I woke up with clay in my beard, with it splattered on my trousers and with it dotted on the bridge of my spectacles
Oh, my love, my darling
I've hungered for your touch
I've hungered for your touch
My Big Pony...
ReplyDeleteActually I like them. They remind me of obese Tang horses.
DeletePraise indeed tom.. thank you
DeleteThey do don't they!! I've seen similar in Manchester Museum.
DeleteI never believed that i will be happy again after much frustration. I have been rejected by my husband after Six(6) years of marriage just because he met another woman and he left me and the kids to suffer. One day when i was reading through the web i stumbled at a post on how chief dr lucky the great spell caster has helped people to restore broken marriages and relationships and curing of diseases. I emailed him immediately to help my situation via: chiefdrlucky@gmail.com He told me not to worry that my husband will return to me begging and shedding tears of forgiveness. I am so happy that my husband actually returned to me in 48 hours after i obeyed the words and instructions of chief dr lucky. contact him today in any of your problems for a lasting solution via: chiefdrlucky@gmail.com or call/whats app +2348132777335
DeleteLove all of the ponies. And would happily find a home for any of them.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you get permanently upgraded out of the cheap seats. Though I like them for the watching potential they offer.
I want to make more horses and dogs
DeleteI was relegated to the back row of my father's funeral. My ex husband's last spiteful act.
ReplyDeleteIt was my choice . Xx
DeleteOhhh love the horsies. Super cool project.
ReplyDeleteYou waking up like that reminded me of some good times. I’ll explain later.
XoXo
I think mave answered for you
DeleteBUKKAKE
ReplyDeleteOh you just had to
DeleteThrow in the word spattering and my response will always be
DeleteHow's your stumps?
DeleteOne's fine. The other is going to get stumpier. Still awaiting transfer for the removal.
DeleteJohn love the horses and looking forward to seeing Albert's new food bowl. Funerals are always difficult - my mum objected to being in the cheap seats too at the funeral of her father. He had been removed from the family for many years and had a second family even though he and mum had reconciled. Trying to calm her in the middle of a service when she was having an "iffy fit" was not easy. Long story as usual but can sympathise. You are a lovely chap even though we have never met you try and keep everyone happy and on an even keel unless they push too far. You are not responsible for fixing everything - you are true of heart though. But it still bloody well hurts when you can't! We all have to take our turn. Animals are so understanding I have five cats and a Jack Russell always utter bedlam but I love the lot of them. Worse than children most of the time. Sorry you missed choir but I think your physical needs of just crashing out had priority after an emotional day. Emotional days I find are more tiring than physical ones. Hold on in there xx
ReplyDeleteI'm fine!! I guess I just needed the snooze!!!!!
DeleteI love all of those ponies. You have captured the face, head and mane especially well. You look like you know what you're doing in the video :)
ReplyDeleteThe secret nurse management taught me
DeleteLesson one
LOOK CONFIDENT
What wonderful horses and the remind me, too, of the Tang horses of China. Well done! Now we need to see Albert's new bowl, please and thank you.
ReplyDeleteSorry you missed choir but after today's schedule, you must have needed the sleep. When I have to get up for something that's scheduled for the evening, I set the kitchen timer and put it nearby lest I sleep on and on and on.
Hugs!
I think we all should have a nap in the daytime x
Deletecute horsies! can't wait to see the finished product AND albert's new cat dish.
ReplyDeleteHe won't be grateful, cats never are
DeleteI love the sounds in the background of your pottery videos; they are like the sounds from a Turkish Bath house.
ReplyDeleteOoooh ypu dirty girl
DeleteI love the horse as a herd. You should make loads of them.
DeleteI'm going to....
Deletethe noise is definitely like a hammam. I thought it on the first video, I could barely concentrate on the little pony .,
DeleteMy sister was smacking her balls ( of clay x)
Deletecan't wait to see it after it's glazed. i never graduated beyond cat bowls. i made about 50 of them.
ReplyDeleteIm going to make a chess set
DeleteI made a chess set and the board in class. It was so much fun.
DeleteThey are still packed away.
I adore your horses. You are very talented.
parsnip
Different dogs as each piece... bulldog queen, Welsh terrier king
DeletePuppy pawns
I love your fat pony.
ReplyDeleteYour pony is definitely the stallion, very good looking too.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I am wondering why messing around with wet clay makes you think of the Unchained Melody? Is this a primordial call or directed at someone?
The film GHOST xx
DeleteI've just spit my tea out at No Roots.
DeleteYour pony has a lot of character (she said...) I've puttered a bit at pottery, and find centering the clay a real challenge. I'm looking forward to seeing Albert's new bowl. He won't appreciate it, but we will.
ReplyDeleteThe centring i can do. Its all the other stuff
ReplyDeleteI have to say, it sounded like someone was having a grand old time slapping something silly in the background.
ReplyDeleteSmacking clay into a ball sounds remarkably like mild S&M
Delete( I AM TOLD)
You mustn't forget Albert. You don't want him to throw a hissy fit every time you play chess.
ReplyDeleteOne. kings is going to be a black cat
DeleteYour fat little pony is just adorable. You're a man of many talents.
ReplyDeleteI can sing but I can't dance
DeleteI seriously am liking those ponies, they will make an awesome conversation piece.
ReplyDeleteI recognise that fellow in the video. It's Harry POTTER!
ReplyDeleteThere is something about making pottery that is soothing. You did a nice job on the horse.
ReplyDeleteI really like those ponies. I was distracted in the video wondering who was being spanked in the background ;)
ReplyDeleteWhere's Patrick Swayze when you need him? (I really like those ponies - great choice). -Jenn
ReplyDeleteBTW...i love that your pony is the one with it's head held up high!
ReplyDeleteYou found your center
ReplyDeleteYou've got the actions of a real pro'.
ReplyDeleteThe ponies are great. What fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the ponies! I hope you will show us Albert's dish when it is completed.
ReplyDeleteLoving the little fat ponies, reminds me of a local story that someone reported seeing some New Forest ponies stuck in the mud... It turned out to be short, fat Shetland ponies with little legs ! Not stuck in the mud at all !
ReplyDeleteI chuckle every time I see them here in the New Forest.
Yours and your sisters' ponies are sweet X
You look so professional at the wheel especially the dip into the water. You seem to be good at everything you try John. XXXX
ReplyDeleteLove your pony...keep making them!
ReplyDeleteI though they looked like the thelwell ponies from the wonderful cartoon , i was that little girl with pig tails on the fat little pony at the gymkana lol
ReplyDeleteChin up John (clay in your beard and all) - you're getting there.
ReplyDeleteI love the ponies and like someone else said I love that yours is looking up. Looking forward to seeing Albert's dish.
ReplyDeleteWow. You actually look like you know what you’re doing on the wheel. And those ponies are wonderful. I don’t know how you can separate them.
ReplyDeleteThe ponies are great. You should make some that we could buy as a holiday fundraiser. In fact you and your sisters could all make a few - I am sure the readers would love to buy them!!
ReplyDeleteJulie
I like how your fat pony has his head raised and nostrils flaring like he's a mighty stallion! And lucky Albert, to get his own personalized, hand-thrown pottery dish! You must show us photos of both when completely done.
ReplyDeleteYou should have an exhibition at your local village hall John-do you have an"art week"where you live.I visited one where a young woman made mainly chunky black an white cows-she said practice and anyone could do the same. They were wonderful x
ReplyDeleteThey look fantastic, brings to mind Przewalski horses. They look uncannily similar. Very well done to you all, you just need a small herd now!
ReplyDeleteJo in Auckland
Love the herd of ponies!
ReplyDeletelovely fat ponies, look great together - hope you can keep them all :)
