It's In A Look


Facebook has an endearing little habit of sending you photos on anniversary days and this one came out of the blue this morning...
Three years ago Auntie Gladys made a rousing speech and opened the village Flower Show for the first time even though she had helped run it for over 40 years
It would be her last year in Trelawnyd. And she was 97
I love this photo.

  7. I remember the day well John, your love and respect for showed, as it does in the photos, and her reciprocal feelings for you were evident every time you spoke. It was a lovely day, I'm so glad you have it preserved forever in this photo.

    And yes I love Facebook Memories each day too, it throws up some corkers sometimes :-)

  16. How lovely and what a wonderful photo. A grand old dame/Matriarch. Glad she is still going strong. Reminds me of my grandmother. Her nick name was the Duchess. You never crossed her though. Happiness is oozing from both of you. xx
