I had an interview for a new job last week.
I interviewed well.
I am now Waiting to hear if I've got the job and it has been a trial .
I now, won't know until next week , perhaps longer.
There is a lot riding on this new job.
Amongst other things my self esteem will take a considerable boost if I do get it..
I need that lift

I think I recognise the breed. It's a penis terrier.
ReplyDeleteI spit out my coffee. Thank you for the laugh.
DeleteI thought it was a knob too!
DeleteOMG so did I... I'm glad I wasn't the only one! LMAO
DeleteThat is a very long time to wait, I do hope it's worth it.
ReplyDeleteWishing you really, REALLY best of luck, JayGee. You deserve nothing less. We'll all be holding our breaths for when you get the word.
ReplyDeleteAnd that dog - it's not a COCKer Spaniel is it? Thought not.
Lol!
DeleteCrikey that was a shock (Phallic symbol)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a successful outcome for your interview.
I always thought a wiener dog was a dachshund, but I guess I was wrong.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a good result, Loving the picture of the rare breed "Hound de Phallus" x

DeleteFingers crossed John. (legs too after looking at that photo!)
ReplyDeleteGood Luck! I sure hope you get the job!
ReplyDeleteGood things come to those who wait, usually after I have given up all hope.
ReplyDeleteThe picture, I have a dirty mind!
Why do they take so long to make a decision?
ReplyDeleteI cringe at what that dog's name must be. "Here, Boner! That's a good boy!" Wishing you the best of luck and hope you get that job!
ReplyDeleteLol!
DeleteYou "interviewed well". What does that mean? I don't wish to take the wind out of your sails (quite the opposite - I'll blow) but what if a sizable chunk of your competition also "interviewed well"? Then the decision maker is in that, peculiar to HR, shit hole of having to, well, decide who of all those who interviewed well will take the crown. Please don't make your self worth dependent on which side of the bed someone got out of that morning or whether they click with. There are so many variables in the recruitment process as to render their outcome largely a mystery.
ReplyDeleteWishing you luck, John, because - despite all your vast experience and credentials - that's what life often comes to ... Lady Luck favouring you.
U
Standing at attention, just the way I like em.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!!!
I liked that dog at first sight.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the interview!
XoXo
I interviewed for a job once but after waiting a reasonable time, I accepted another offer. Six weeks later, after working at the at the new job, I got a call from the first company. After I told him that I was happy where I was, he up the offer $10,000 more. I accepted and worked there for seventeen years until I retired. Companies,
ReplyDeleteArge and small, are notoriously long in making employment decisions. Hang in there. Good things come to he who waits.
So, the pup is named Peter, I am guessing... Heh. I do hope you get the job. Waiting is always hard...
ReplyDeleteCat
Hoping some good luck comes your way, John!

ReplyDeleteAll your fans are so clever with their play on words regarding the dog a friend has one like that and says it's a Cockerdoodle half Cocker spaniel and Poodle.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you get the job they will be lucky to have you, some good news for a fresh start is needed.
All the best! I had an interview today and not sure it went well at all, even though they really want me I don't have the core technical skills they need and there are other applicants. ho hum. I'll be rooting for you, but not in the sense that that photo implies! ;-)

ReplyDeleteI’m from USA am here to give my testimony about Dr Voke who helped me cure my HERPES (HSV), i want to inform the public how i was cured from (HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS), i visited different hospital but they gave me list of drugs like Famvir, Zovirax, and Valtrex which is very expensive to treat the symptoms and never cured me. Three months ago a friend suggested that I try herbal medicine; from a very powerful herbal doctor called (doctorvoke@gmail.com) I looked up his blog on the internet site and indeed he have had immense success with his product. There were lot of persons posting their testimony about how he cured them. when i contacted him he gave me hope and send a Herbal medicine to me that i took and it seriously worked for me, my HERPES result just came out negative.
