  25. Not every dog shows such solid, deep and true devotion. In the same way , not every dog's owner loves them enough to sacrifice and devote as much of their time, love and money for vet bills and sausage treats, etc. as you do for Winnie and your other pets.

In your April 19, 2015 "Liv and Winnie" post when Winnie surprised you by merrily playing with little Liv you said she must have known and loved children in her past.

I think Winnie loves you more than she would any other human because of the childlike devotion to, glee in, and enjoyment you display towards her,and really, of so much in life, John. I hope this Christmas day has many moments as sweet for you as that photo is for we readers to see.-Mary

  90. This is officially my Morning photo ... it makes me smile and reminds me of how dogs love us .. it sort of makes me want a puppy .. Happy New Year -- as I have learned, as bad as things seem, they do get better. Nothing stays the same, even good stuff .. we just have to adjust and be strong ... even better things can come along. Happy New Year .
