  1. Your rose is beautiful. Mine should be in full blossom by this afternoon too. They smell so lovely right off the bush don't they?

  17. You keep such nice things to make your home as charming as it is. In case you don't know this already, one way to make a bouquet of flowers stay fresh longer is to mix a couple spoons both of sugar and vinegar in the water they are kept in.-Mary

  28. Lovely John! My Grandmother grew different varieties of roses! When in bloom, she had small vases purposely put to catch the eye and smell the aroma in the house. Gabs

  29. What gorgeous flowers! I love the rose, and thank you and the others for identifying the other blossoms. I am the Grim Reaper of Plants. That is my nature and talent, applied successfully to exterminating weeds. So I admire y'all with the green thumbs, who make beautiful and tasty plants bloom and grow. Lovely work. Love the tablecloth pattern.

  30. Don't fresh flowers make a difference! And you do an excellent job of arranging them. I find it hard to get a good balance. I hope they're roses with a perfume?

  31. Now, that is a rose! I have a friend who is a rose rustler. She travels Canada and US looking for heritage roses on abandoned homes and gardens. She has some beautiful ones too.
