Not As I Left It

It's as hot in Trelawnyd as it was in  Sitges, only not as humid.
I got home in the wee small hours after a particularly ardious journey thanks primarily to easyJet and a few dysfunctional passengers with no manners, class or/and morals.
The cottage looks tired today
It took me a full hour to realise just why.

The flowers in the vases I had so carefully dotted around before I left had withered away in the heat

  3. I love the cutting of flowers, finding different vases, vessels to hold their beauty . . .one of my most favorite things to do for myself, others too.
Not in favor when the heat tires them out and they are done though.
Hope the pups welcomed you and you can freshen up those vases today with some fresh cuts. Welcome Home!

We have big black thunder clouds piling up in the formerly blue sky.
We will probably have our 4th of July fireworks rained out.
Enjoy being back home and in your own bed ⭐️

  9. Good to know you made it back, and not in pieces.

Whilst I love some deliberately dried flowers (I have a fine specimen of a tiny red rose I nicked from a bush overhanging the street I live in - now so dry it resembles its own caricature)I can't stand dead cut flowers. There is something funereal about them. You are probably not into Feng Shui, neither am I, but - as they say - the "vibe" of dead flowers isn't good. Chuck them, rinse your vases, get some fresh ones. New day, new dawn and all that.

With you in my thoughts. What about the pack?

  17. Empty and clean the vases and buy some low maintenance pot plants such as an aloe, aloe vera, or other type of cactus to invigorate the place. (That is just a suggestion and not a command by the way!)x
