  10. I told myself not to look at this. I never listen to myself! It's kind of hard to cook dinner when everything is blurry. My heart hurts.

  11. Nope. Cannot handle this today. Sorry.

  12. Animals, other than humans, know exactly what is happening and know how to deal with it in a respectful way.

  13. I am a true believer in animals' ability to feel all
'human' emotions. They all have abilities that many humans choose to ignore: love, compassion, communication, language, community, family, sadness,
and so on. We are sadly too arrogant as human beings to believe that we are the only ones with feelings. Humans can be so stupid and unfeeling. Our greatest sin.

    1. I agree completely. And after seeing a clip of a cow going to it's death in the the slaughter house with tears running down it's face and a look of total despair on it's face I decided I just had to stop eating all meat.

    2. I have to switch TV channels when there's anything, ANYTHING at all, about animals - even on the news, and even if it doesn't involve their suffering.

  16. Bless her tired heart. It is nice to see the comfort and joy the touch of an old friend can bring.

  18. So, so moving. A tired, ill old lady in the loving arms of a dear old friend. Still crying.

  20. I've seen this a few times online. Breaks my heart and I cry every time I see it. Such a blessing for her to have her old friend visit. I wish he could have stayed with her until the end. In many ways, they are better than us!
